Before this thread dies, can anyone name "The Russian Rocket?" (Known as much for his hockey prowess as his brief marriage to the Russian national treasure-Anna Kournikova.)

Re: Very solid night for Anthony, Anderson and Bairstow
I don't think Anderson realizes how good he can be. He has moves with either hand around the bucket and has decent size. It seems like he easily loses confidence if a shot or two doesn't fall. Last night I saw some Tai Wesley in him with the physicality. Hoping it sticks.

Serious question: How many times can Frank interview and not get the gig? Could there be any backlash racially speaking? Norm Chow hinted at racial injustice years ago when he was spurned at the y. Is Hartwell under any pressure from the wacko lib NCAA? The same NCAA that tells Native Americans what...

Re: History 2010 - Untold Truths
From a life lesson standpoint, the two best classes I took as an undergrad in the early 90's were from F. Ross and Michael L Nichols. In those courses we studied McCarthyism and Salem Mass. in 1692. In both of those situations all someone had to do was accuse you of witchcraft or ties to communism a...

The Pac-12 may lead the way out west but try telling the SEC that they won't have football this fall. The Georgia governor waved a middle finger at everybody (including DJT) and opened his state. I expect a similar middle finger from the SEC.

I have always been curious...Who was responsible for recognizing Jordan's talent? I know it happened under Matt's watch but who is the one the one that was sold on his talent early on? Any of you alpha posters (22, SlCAg, rat, et al) know?

Please bring back Kevin Harlan. I don't know if it was Thompson but whoever landed him last year should get major props.
The two clowns this year spent more time gushing over Flynn's missed shot than on Sam's game winner.

Dutcher reminds of Ric Majerus and Tarkanian in the way he handles defeat, is complimentary of opposing players, and the way he embraces the hostility of the Spectrum. He seems like a class act to me.

No love for Steven Ashworth in this thread? Is he a 1000 point scorer? Nothing wrong with that. One of my favorite shooters in Aggie history was Jeff Anderson from Honeyville.

and basically the "talk" went something like this: "don't let the 4.3 ppg, the 18% three point shooting, or the 1:3 assist/TO ratio fool you scouts. I'm drawing a disproportionate amount of attention which gives Kendal Youngblood all those open looks."

I had the opportunity to watch this kid last night. He was close to a quadruple double in points, rebounds, steals, and assists. I went to the Great Falls Tribune's box score this morning to see if he got it done but even the tribune said "we lost count of assists and steals in the second half." Not...

I'm never going to go after someone for shooting poorly (Miller). But a players effort is fair game imo. Brito's effort, particularly defensively, was abysmal. Hope he gets it turned around.

Speaking of Tania...was it ever substantiated that she, is in fact, hot? I know that there was some discussion of this last year. I have a son who plays HS football and my wife (his mom) is a teacher at the same school. He deals with comments and innuendos from his teammates on a regular basis. Wond...

On the replays, it looked like AliFua was picking the ball up and then flipping the ball to Love, instead of a one-motion snap.

Merrill's "toe on the line" call was very telling imo. the ref was adamant that it was only a two. He was way out of position and basically guessed that Sam's toe was on the line. It wasn't really even that close.

Speaking of refs....I don't know what this new fascination is, with some refs, where they blow their whistle (extremely loud), five separate times with choreographed movements to signal basic calls like a travel.
