Re: Hosting Washington State

On the bright side, a lot of people on this board hoped that the PAC2 game would replace Air Force. It looks like we got our wish. Hopefully that translates to fewer early season injuries.

Avoid 1400 N tonight

For anybody headed to tonight's game, 1400 North eastbound is closed. There's a crash involving a semi-truck near Oakridge Apts / Rudy's. They've been cleaning it up since 5:30. 800 E is open in both directions though.

Re: POLL: Retire football to focus on bball

If budget balancing truly forces you to make a change, then moving football to FCS is probably your only option. Completely getting rid of either sport is a mistake. The cost to restart it is prohibitively high. You'll never be able to undo that decision. You don't drop to the current FCS as it is ...

Re: POLL: Retire football to focus on bball

The transfer portal creates a challenge, but it seems like a fair system to me. The real problem right now is that the NIL rules became a way to funnel an unlimited amount of non-NIL money to players. That puts all but the richest of schools in a disadvantageous position for all money-making sports....

Akin had a couple of really bad plays on offense, but I liked what he brought on defense. He was getting good positioning. He boxed out Bandaogo pretty well, preventing a lot of 2nd chances for UVU. He just needs to get out of his own head. It was clear he was frustrated and that led to some stupid ...

You can bring in a reusable bottle too. However, it can't be glass or metal (i.e. has to be see-through plastic). It also has to be empty -- they'll make you dump it out if it has anything in it. You can fill it with water once you get inside.
