They aren’t taking him with their 8th or 10th picks I wouldn’t think. Their next pick is #35 second round. So does he still go if thats where he thinks he lands?

From what I saw against Washington this team has a LONG way to go before having a silly thread started about going undefeated.

All I know is that he looks really active cheering on the team from the bench. If he was told to go in and was sulking then I disagree with that but his overall attitude since losing his starter position has impressed me. Didn’t he leave the team for a few days after losing his starting spot before...

Re: Potential Bid Stealer

You never want to see a bid thief, but if there were to be one SMC is not a bad one to have because USU beat them pretty good, and that Zag win will certainly bump them high in the net rankings making our win against them even more impressive to the committee. USU just needs to take care of busines...

A first round exit and we are in real danger. A first round exit and anyone else than Nevada winning the tournament and we don’t get a bid. A second round exit and anyone other than Nevada winning the tournament and we are in danger.

I don’t think that the MWC gets three teams under any circumstance.

I think some praise for the student section deserves it's own thread. The students absolutely brought it. They were creative, loud, and awesome. It felt like a party again. Hopefully on Saturday that remaining 500-1000 students that aren't showing up come and the corner turns into people standing a...

MONEY $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Coaches are nomadic by nature. Can't fault that a bit as they are hired to be fired. I use the word Mercenary because they do it for money -- nomads, not so much money based. Anyway, I liked him at USU; wish he were still here, but $$$$ drives all of them. He's not here...

Not really fair to Wells. Gary’s strength is recruiting Utah . He is one of the best at that. Wells has other strengths. Recruiting Utah wasn’t what he felt most comfortable with. However did he not leave us with a top 25 team?

Why would Tyreese Jackson announce he was committing Wednesday and then not do it? I guess he is not sure where he wants to go, or maybe got a last minute offer..
Also why would we back away from Brandon Pierce when he just got an offer fro Oklahoma? My guess is we knew we didn’t have a shot.

Not a good sign if they leave without a commit usually Yup, which is why it’s so discouraging to come away from a “big” weekend with only one kinda underwhelming commit. I imagine the Logan weather isn't helping. We have sunny skies and no snow in SLC, while Logan is covered in Snow and freezing. T...

2 of the games that we lost were against Houston and Nevada on the road. ASU and BYU were road games, and the lone game that we lost at home was against Fresno State. Nothing bad in the eyes of the NET rankings. This is a fun team. Looking back, I thought we had a real shot against Houston on the r...

Count me as someone who is very disappointed we stopped recruiting Brandon Pierce. I was really high on him. I can't believe that we're going to sign 0 JC WR's as it currently looks right now. Why not at least still have Pierce in for a visit in case we strike out elsewhere? I'm flummoxed :headscra...

We did mysteriously offer a teammate of AJ Carter's yesterday Dorian Hewitt. However, he is a safety/cornerback and he has a few P5 offers but I don't think we would offer this late in the game if we hadn't been told we had a shot. Perhaps a package deal of some sort? Hewitt was a Utah lean and vis...

I've said it here before and got blasted, declaring early isn't necessarily a positive for the athlete. Couldn’t a field goal kicker with a pulled hamstring still be able to attempt an onside kick? It seems he could probably still do that?? The thought just occured to me a couple hours after watching their punt fail to give them any chance.

I expect 10-2 with the roster we have. 9-3 would be okay, anything less would be a disappointment. We return or record setting QB, both running backs, several receivers, a very good tight end, an all-American LB, Tipa, several D-lineman, and a lot of our secondary. Couple that with a consensus all-...
