Re: North Texas

They only average 45-50 possessions/game and have effectively slowed the game down for everybody they’ve played except Rhode Island yesterday. They have some decent height in the post and their best player is the small guard referenced above. We’ve played against similar type guards this year and t...

The lack of concern about PG on the part of the staff suggests that they might know something about our new recruits that we don't.

Re: Where to file a complaint against a member of event services?

There are numerous versions of most all stories of outrageous behavior by police and security staff. The one designed to make them look outrageous and unreasonable is pretty much always embellished to the point where its accuracy is in question.

I take all such stories with a grain of salt.

He'll be a good indicator of Coach Smith's player development skills. Yes. Smith's claimed that he's been successful at player development, and he has. It'll be interesting to see what he can do with a player who's lacking in just about every area other than size. Interesting take. Watching the vid...

Actually Cobbley suffered a back injury from which he was never able to fully recover.

I spent some time talking with him about it. He was pretty discouraged.

He may not have become a star anyway, but it was the injury that lead to his departure.

Caroline and the Martin brothers are returning to school. They will be awfully good next year. I wonder what they are going to do since they've signed like 15 or 16 guys? Maybe they'll tell that 5* McDonald's All-American that there isn't any room and we can get him to come here? If i remembe...

This reflects much worse on Tahi than it does on Wells.

The only people who aren't shocked at his lack of decorum are those who were already biased against USU. To them it is just confirmation of their already held bias. To everyone else it is about Tahi being a spoiled brat.

Blitz is correctly talking about academic years, not eligibility years.

If he has been in school two years (redshirt/freshman) then academically he would be a Junior and would not benefit by going to a two year school.

Re: Knight III signs

From Knight's video... I love his aggressive nature and athleticism. I am not all that worried about his outside shot. My only worry (and I think this can be coached) is that in the video he often took it to the hoop when there was a pass available to an open teammate that would have lead to an easi...

I agree. This sounds like revisionist history to support a current narrative. Does anyone really need to make up a story to defend Duryea's firing at th...

Dogie was afraid the board would turn on him by November. You guys have already turned on Peery based on the idea that he might get the job. Let's trust that Hartwell is doing due diligence. If someone is off the list, it is likely for good reason. If someone is moving up the list it is likely for g...

I think my biggest problem with Peery is that he seems to run the same type of offense as Duryea. Remember when our fans were frustrated because we just chuck up 3 pointers? That's what they do too. In fact they shot 1 more 3 than we did when we played them. When the 3 pointers went in, they won. W...

I don't think you were wrong. I just think instant gratification means a coach that builds a program from the ground up will get fired before his team gets good. No patience.
