Re: BYU, USU, BSU Joining AAC?

I wonder where the author of this "article" placed our players in the 60 in 60 list on 1280.

Re: Your Best and Worst USU ADs

Hartwell also folded like a tent, but to the big donors, especially Laub. It could work out fine, but I always like to maintain a bit of skepticism. I guess we will see if the big donors are better than former players at hiring. I will say this, not many were excited about the Duryea hire. Most of A...

Sports media personnel are like weather men. They can blab on and on about what they "know". After the event, they blab on and on about new stuff. They never have to be accountable for their blabbery.

Re: When youth sports gets nasty

It is really sad to me. My youth sports were a positive experience. I enjoyed playing and never worried about the refs calls. My dad coached and my mom read a book. I feel like I learned a lot about hard work and team work during those years. I also learned to never get after a ref for a poor call. ...

Re: Your Best and Worst USU ADs

I feel like Barnes buckled to former players and Stew on the Duryea hire. He couldn't secure Connors, so he made the easy hire and took his cut of the "search" money and left town. I would love to have a little Barnes sprinkled with a little Hartwell. We need the fiscal responsibility of Hartwell an...

Re: When youth sports gets nasty

We keep complaining about how kids act these days, yet the real problem is the adults. This is completely immature behavior. Shame on these parents and any other parents who behave in this manner. At the end of the day, a 7 year old baseball game is not important enough to act like fools.

Re: I don't think Devin likes Logan

I think it depends on the person. For some, that is enough. For others, they may need a close friend to really start to feel comfortable and confident. I don't know Devin personally, I'm sure lack of success has played a part in all of this. In the end, our coaches need to provide as much support as...

It would seem that we are about five to six weeks from Fall Camp starting. I always know that because this thread comes out every year around the same time. I'm sure we could look at last year's 60 in 60 and see the same arguments.

Not fitting in isn't the same as being oppressed. There are a lot of people that move to a new place and don't fit in. There are many movies about it. That doesn't mean that they are being oppressed. It is important that someone finds a place where they can feel comfortable. Then they need to be tau...

The NCAA just wants to keep the power schools happy. They don't want to rock the boat and have them leave. It is really weird to me and something that I don't really enjoy about college sports.

I haven't ever cared about this list. I don't see myself starting this season either. It is something to talk about during the long summer of nothing. There is no baseball interest in Utah and the Women's World Cup isn't going to move the dial.

We have a lot of question marks this coming season. New coaching staff, few returning starters on offense, tougher schedule. That all adds up to us being an enigma. We will see if Gary can put it all together.

I didn't buy his excuse for the timing. He stiffed his team mates and he couldn't understand the University not giving him a full release after he just used a scholly for the season.
