Re: Interesting Blue A Collective Article
At some point, we just need to back out and stop caring. This is not a sustainable system.

Re: Keeping Our Guys
We were the type of team that competed really well or lost big. The Purdue game isn't indicative of the talent on our team. We had a bad game and let it get out of hand. That isn't taking anything away from Purdue. They are a very good team that we lose to most nights. Our team has a lot of talent, ...

Re: Irony of not hiring assistants
Basically, Washington paid us for the privilege of having Sprinkle coach our team, with players he brought here, for 11 months. We also got a MWC championship and NCAA tourney win out of the deal. Sounds like a great trade, one that probably won't be replicated. I choose to be happy about it. Also, ...

Re: I was wrong
Washington has been invited to the tournament 17 times in its history. They last won in 2019 (against USU). They have been to 7 sweet 16s, the last being in 2010. They have money for the program and NIL in that area. They have a lot of talent in the area. Everything is there for Danny to succeed. No...

Re: Sprinkle's (possible) replacements
I believe Connors was the guy from Utah that was stringing us along. We are in a better place right now. There are more resources in the AD than in the past. As long as we fans don't get complacent, our program will be fine. It does suck to lose an entire team. We should know that turnarounds can ha...

Someone else mentioned it. For $900K (roughly), we get an outright Regular Season MWC Championship, an NCAA tournament win, and about $3M to $3.5M. That is a great ROI.

Re: Sprinkle to Washington
I remember being really upset about Gary leaving. Now that it has happened so many times, I am far less upset. As the season continued on, and the team performed so well, it was obvious that Sprinkle wouldn't be around very long.

I'm with BiocatAg , very disappointed that Deity didn't shine down on the Aggies while I was doing church stuff for 10 hours. I did however meet some more Aggies in my area when they saw my USU tie and belt buckle. They were excited about the win just like we are. I don't expect any Deity to care mu...

I was on my mission in Venezuela at the time, spent 6 years at USU (BS and MS degrees) and in the basketball pep band all of those years. Travelled to multiple NCAA tournaments, but never saw us win a postseason game. I even went to the NIT game at Illinois State when we were living in Iowa. Speaki...

Lobos just can't make up any ground Lobos, like CSU yesterday, are doing the classic USU -- playing competitively after digging a big hole you can never get out of. Glad the Aztecs pulled it out for posterity. Are pulling it out and posterity compatible? That is not something you should rely upon.

Re: Was the MW seeded fairly?
Seeding was definitely poor based on metrics and history. Performance was as expected based on seeding (8/9 is typically 50-50). If the MWC wants more respect, they will need to win games when they are not seeded higher.

Personally, I think Sprinkle has done a fine job with this. Maybe his buddy, Goodman?, jumped the gun a bit. He has been engaged on the sideline, and has stayed away from discussing this until after the season. What more can we ask of him?

Some random twitter account with no followers tweeted that it was a done deal (and I did not believe it as credible at the time). Som...

I'm just glad we aren't the trendy 11 or 12 seed upset pick. You know, because 12s beat 5s every year.

Re: Officials for the game
I actually disagree a bit. TCU is a physical team. A loose whistle will be more beneficial to their style of play. Also, Osobor is always looking for the contact fouls. He may not get that with the loose whistle. That said, we also benefit if our defense can be more aggressive and not lose Mason or ...

Re: It's Game Day - tighten up your dancing shoes!
As an Aggie fan, I understand the desire for a win tonight. We have been so close to shaking off the post season letdown. I wasn't able to see the Aggies win in 2001. I found out about it a couple of weeks after the fact. I haven't ever tasted the sweet nectar of victory in the tournament as a dieha...
