Re: Mascot changes

I live in Salem, Oregon. Some of the high school mascots around here include: The North Salem Vikings, the McNarry Scotts, and the South Salem Saxons. As an Anglo-American person of pallor, I have to say I am deeply, deeply offended.

Interesting. Really ugly shot and does not have a quick release, but those percentages are definitely nothing to sneeze at. Seems to put the ball well in front of him, push his butt back and shot put it up there. If he can get it off and shoot anywhere near the percentages he shot in high school, j...

That occurred after I finished school there. But I did walk through there a few times and remember the place and the good smell. Those of us who have some age can remember getting Aggie ice cream in the basement of the old Ag building on the quad. I remember both. The Dairy Bar was still in the Ag ...

Am I missing something that is getting folks excited about this kid? He's got a decent frame, albeit a little shorter than most TEs that we've brought in over the last few years. He's not highly rated, and doesn't have an impressive offer list. Unless our internal scouting has identified this kid a...

San Diego State has already come out and challenged this, saying they are prepared to do a dual learning some on campus and some online. Fresno State is also saying things contrary to this report. I think they have jumped the gun on this and to say the whole state is in the same situation is not co...

If the California schools cancel their football seasons by mid-summer, it would be my position that players on those teams should be able to transfer immediately without having to sit out a year, especially seniors. And schools willing to take them in transfer should be allowed up to an extra 5 sch...

Yeah. It's going to be hard to win more than about 7 regular season games this year. It does set us up for 2021 though. That year we should have a much softer schedule, with tons of returning talent. I think we'll have a 9+ win season that year.

Here is the thing about most anti-body tests. They suck and are unreliable. So while everybody and their brotther are making them, 85% of them don't work. I’d like to see some data on that. My 2 cents: The numbers from the Chinese government are garbage. Best guess is that Wuhan had at least 40,000 deaths, based on the excess number of cremation urns delivered to the city. Decent size for a punter. It's always nice, all other things being equal, to have a punter who is big enough to tackle a good sized WR or slot, in the event of a good return.

By her 9th year, the team went 21 - 10 in a stronger league (we'd moved from the Big West to the WAC), and went to the WNIT for ...
