Been to: Utah State BYU Utah - before the 1998 renovation Dartmouth Hard Rock - Before the renovation Raymond James Best - USU of course. Raymond James was nice too. Worst - Utah, before the renovation. Edit - Forgot about San Jose State. Perhaps the fact that I forgot about it should put it in the ...

My first MLB game was in 1977 in the Astrodome. I loved those 1970's/80's rainbow jerseys. I had a souvenir one that I wore for many years, even after I outgrew it. LOL!

Charges were dropped due to evidenciary issues. Sounds a little like why Love, et al, weren't prosecuted for possession. Also, he is being held out of Spring ball, at least for now. Convenient that he is being held out of spring ball at the same time he cannot participate in spring ball due to reco...

Re: WCC Tourney Floor

Basketball floors today sort of remind me of baseball uniforms in the 1970s and 1980s. They are going through a phase right now where there seems to be a competition to see who can come up with the ugliest floor. At some point someone is going to go back to basics, a classic look, and that will kick...

Wasn't it Cazier that turned into an alcoholic after his wife died? Part of the reason that I am an Aggie is because of President Cazier. My dad took a job at USU in the early 80’s with a recommendation from Stan. I struggle with my feelings about him every time he comes up in an athletic discussio...

Thank you oleblu. You stirred some of my synapses to close, and close they finally did. Re: Chuck Shelton Passed Away

Rest In Peace Coach Shelton! Chuck’s last year (‘91) was my freshman year at USU. I remember his hat. Interesting how good of career record he had in conference (60%) but how awful our non-conf record was (1-23). Then again our non-conf schedule in 1991 was @ Utah, @ Nebraska, @ Oklahoma, and @ BYU...

Re: Prima Donna support group

If this goes to court, in all likelihood Boise will win this, the MW promised them the extra money forever. If they leave, AAC will become undisputed top G5 league and MW will be competing with Sun Belt and the rest for number 2. I don't know that the conference deal specifically stated that it is ...

Re: Boise fighting the MWC

Craig Thompson is a jackwagon. I wish the ADs fired him immediately for that deal. Boise and SDSU came crawling back and he basically wet his pants and begged Boise to come back I’m shocked anyone else agreed to it. A huge mistake by the MWC and it likely wasn't all on Thompson. Remember back when ...

Re: Boise fighting the MWC

I’m confused as to why Colorado State should get to go to a bigger conference. What have they done in the past years that Utah State hasn’t? Is it simply based on facilities? I posted this not too long ago. CSU gets an undeserved amount of love for some reason. USU has a better overall record, bett...

Re: Boise fighting the MWC

Ya'll are coming at this from a scarcity mentality. I get the scar tissues of the past, but we need to get over that. Boise is bluffing, and we need to call it. If they aren't they don't have as good a hand as they think they do. Well that all depends if the AAC isn’t a viable option. What have you...

I have serious doubts that at this point BYU and BSU have enough clout to just snap their fingers and have all those schools jump to their magical new conference. I like the UConn games. It will be USU's second trip to Connecticut to play the Huskies. The Aggies defeated the Huskies 38-31 in Storrs back in 2001, when UConn was making the transition to D1A/FBS. I am amazed a how far UConn has fallen over the past ten years. They were on the verge of becoming r...

CSU gets a lot of benefit of the doubt. They won ten games in 2014, after eleven seasons of relative mediocrity, and then they slip right back into five more seasons of mediocrity, yet they are constantly treated as a one of the G5 gems. Meanwhile USU has had as many ten plus win seasons in the past...
