Re: 17 in the AP Top 25

I'm an old Aggie, but not old enough (or maybe too old...) to remember the '70-'71 team that was the last one to be ranked in the preseason polls. USU78, mcaggie, tinplater, AggiesForever, other AARP-eligible Ags: can you remember that team? Marv Roberts? Nate Williams? Did we have both that year? I...

Re: When will the full schedule be released?

Howdy I am a UTSA Alumni who will making my first ever trip to the State of Utah to watch my Roadrunners play the defending MWC Champions USU Aggies. I will be spending a few days in the area to make this mini vacation. I am looking for recommendations on what I should see in y'alls natural beautif...

Re: A few Nevada players of note with Utah connections

* * * As for Cole Watts, for whatever reason Matt Wells largely ignored Orem High which was baffling to me because Jeremy Hill (Hunters dad) played here. I know Watts visited USU, can't remember if it was for a camp or for an official, and was interested in coming, but Roy's right that he was never...

Can someone who knows something -- a scarce commodity on this forum -- explain to me why the scrimmages have to be completely hush-hush? What harm is the NCAA preventing by treating these scrimmages like the witness protection program?

The schedule situation

I have heard that we are about at the point where the season ticket books and parking passes have to go the printer. But we are still two games short of a full schedule, and as things stand now there is only one game in the Spectrum between November 18 and January 4 (Fresno, December 7). Going six w...

It wouldn't exactly be shocking. After all: "AGGIES vs. POWER 5 OPPONENTS • In Gary Andersen's five years as Utah State's head coach, the Aggies have been very competitive against Power 5 opponents. In 2009, USU lost at Texas A&M, 38-30. In 2010, the Aggies lost at No. 7 Oklahoma, 31-24 . In 2011, ...

Do we forget the dirty trick Nevada and Fresno pulled when they moved from the WAC to the MWC? They deserve plenty of return dirty tricks. Fair point, but it paved the way for all of us to join in the end. (Did it? I don’t think so - it was only BSU and SDSU leaving for the Big East that open...
