Re: 2020 Virtual Aggie Auction - FREE Registration

Thanks for posting. This is a nice way we can all pitch in to support Aggie Athletics. There is usually a lot of cool stuff, from my past experience. I registered, and it IS free! Woohoo!

Agreed. The Packers aren't concerned; Rogers was #3 on the depth chart his rookie year also. And he had all the workouts, etc.

Re: BYU plays in 1 week

I'm hating not having football, but I wouldn't want to see a piece-meal schedule. That’s fair. I would be happy with any type of schedule. But that is just me. It's probably because I don't understand the whole eligibility, who will leave and who will be back scenarios. I wouldn't want our guys was...

Re: History 2010 - Untold Truths

I am very proud of the boys & Coach A for initiating this. As far as “preferring it over looting & pillaging”, not necessarily a bad comment but maybe not completely appropriate for the moment. Maybe something a little more like “Im glad our boys chose to educate themselves as well as others on thi...

Re: New basketball venue for usu

One of the primary changes we need is to sell out our arena. It's hard for me to see an arena with more seats than we have when we rarely have sellouts, even with a championship team. Same issue with football. Ugh.

Re: New basketball venue for usu

I'd love to see it rebuilt with the same configuration, seats close to the court but with more seating space per seat. Larger concourses and bathrooms and concessions. I don't care much for suites and such with basketball. I like it for football, but for BBall I like being down close to the action. ...

If we had a venue like Weber's or the Huntsman (or the AA in Laramie, all of which are very similar) would we have the same environment as we do today?

Re: What is the best comeback in USU basketball history?

This one won't rank at all in importance, but a few years ago when Weber was in town, they were up on us by 15 or 18 or so at the half and we ended up beating them by about that same amount. I hated that first half, but the second half was fun!

I've been wondering that as well...I don't know that university funding has hit the federal radar yet. Not that that means they would get anything done on the issue!

I wonder if they'll make any adjustments to the number of scholarships available, given the potential of what this might do to high school class recruits.

I watched the Mississippi Valley State and UVU games yesterday. Three impressions: 1. JKIII can do some work. Too bad it wasn't meant to last. 2. Quinn Taylor had some really big moments for the team offensively and getting us going. I didn't remember how much he did for us in that category, and ho...

Yeah, I understand the difference between being in a conference and not. I would like someone, anyone, to say that we were doing everything possible to play, it’s just ...

I am incredibly bummed. I told my kids last night and my youngest complained for an hour before going to bed, saying watching Aggie football was one of his favorite things to do with me. Heartbreaking. As faculty at a school whose athletic department is already $65-100M in the whole, I also wonder ...

Still waiting on that ball handler...reminds me of "One on One" with Robbie Benson. Actually filmed at CSU.

His roommate was a 6'6" guard who said he was the shortest guy on his high school team. He was the only guy who could dribble the ball.

I believe that Gabbs, Nevada (closest place to hell on earth that I have ever been to, and I grew up next door to Death Valley!) will freeze over before BYU ever returns to the MWC. Their self-absorbed ego (redundant?) would not allow that. I don't know that I care that much. Good arguments to be ma...
