Re: Potential New Helmets

Good insight S17vk, and a fair question. I have no idea if Nike is paying any, part or all of the bill. Beyond that, those helmets look like they have a high maintenance finish. I don't think Nike has gone into the helmet business. They might pay for their artists to produce a new design but they o...

Re: Recruiting

While your talking what-ifs. Rylan Jones is at Utah because the coach hired his dad. If Utah makes a coaching change and his Dad is let go in the process, would Rylan look at transferring. He spent many years behind the bench in the spectrum as a ball boy. If that were to happen could Falslev and Jo...

Re: What is the best comeback in USU basketball history?

I have seen some good ones, but the one that has stuck out to me was a game in 1970 against Air Force. If I remember right we were trailing by 10-12 points with about a minute to go. It seemed like Marv Roberts hit a couple of shots and then Nate Williams took over in the final seconds. I remember h...

Reminds me of a quarterback we recruited from Arizona a few years ago. Coaches coverted him to an edge rusher. It turned
pretty good for us and he has been earning a pretty good paycheck in the nfl for the last few years.

I would foresee the player that did the targeting will be a hero and be able to incite the crowd from the sideline. I am fine with him staying on the sideline but they need to keep there mouth shut or be flagged with unsportmanslike and then kicked out

It will be interesting to see if schools will have scholarships available for Missionaries returning early. They will have to count against the 25 initial scholarships of which all but one was used up. I hope we don't lose anyone over this .

outside. In many ways similar to Donovan Mitchell

An article i read said he took a medical retirement in august of 2019. The medical retirement is where the school can continue to pay for his education but does not have to count as athletic scholarship. Where he only played 3 games in 2018 before getting injured would he have 2 years to play?

This thread reminds me of what was said when Josh Heupel left. No one thought he could coach and were glad when he left.
It turned out pretty good for Josh. It just shows that a good coach can look bad without the right players on the field and look good when they have the right players

I believe we will see Anderson bring an experienced defensive coach to fill the vacant 10th coach position. I know he has
talked to at least one coach that has 30 years+ coaching on the defensive side. I think new coasch will be their to help the young coaches to develop and succeed.

Normally the game will be delayed if lightning is occuring within a certain distance(8 miles) of the stadium. It is not uncommon for the delays to last up to several hours. The games cannot restart until 30 minute after the last lightning strike. I have heard a few games canceled where the lightning...
