Re: Recruiting

Kirk to uic seems interesting. Some guys just like California over Logan in the winter. :noidea: Seriously though, disappointing to lose out to Irvine. Enjoy playing in front of 500 nerds. UIC is illinois chicago Yikes, even worse I never saw anything that we went after him. I believe he has to sit...

Many missionaries serving in foreign countries are being sent home and some are being released early. I would assume that
Ashcroft is probably home by now and wonder if Cade Potter may be home in time for fall semester.

Maybe it was posted already but spring football has been cancelled as of today, A lot of details to work out such
as strength and conditioning, nutrition, tutoring, and individual position workouts. I know their have been meetings
but don't know what was decided

It was a different era but I would take Nate Williams. He was physical enough to take it to the rim or pull up and hit from
outside. In many ways similar to Donovan Mitchell

Good work 22

Also heard that their is one more JC player that we are waiting on. Coaches will know by the end of next week whether he is coming. I am assuming he would have to receive his winter quarter grades and then be cleared by the NCAA clearinghouse

the facilities. I would start there

An article i read said he took a medical retirement in august of 2019. The medical retirement is where the school can continue to pay for his education but does not have to count as athletic scholarship. Where he only played 3 games in 2018 before getting injured would he have 2 years to play?

Aranda was one my favorite coaches when he was here He said Cache Valley reminded him of Mayberry. Neighbors would bring them pies, neighbor children always inviting his children to come out and play, and felt safe and did not have to lock their doors. He always looked pretty calm but during the gam...

This thread reminds me of what was said when Josh Heupel left. No one thought he could coach and were glad when he left.
It turned out pretty good for Josh. It just shows that a good coach can look bad without the right players on the field and look good when they have the right players

I believe we will see Anderson bring an experienced defensive coach to fill the vacant 10th coach position. I know he has
talked to at least one coach that has 30 years+ coaching on the defensive side. I think new coasch will be their to help the young coaches to develop and succeed.

Lou Holtz once said when speaking of what makes a good college player that 40% was based on his physical abilities and 60% came from motivation. The motivation came from several directions. 20% - Playing for your school and teammates, 20% playing for friends, family and community, and finally from m...

We have a good drainage system under the turf.. The turf itself is like most synthetic turf and can be a slippery but
with proper cleat selection it should not be a huge problem.

Normally the game will be delayed if lightning is occuring within a certain distance(8 miles) of the stadium. It is not uncommon for the delays to last up to several hours. The games cannot restart until 30 minute after the last lightning strike. I have heard a few games canceled where the lightning...

He was just getting out of the hospital the morning of our last home game.. There was talk of him coming up to game and
