My guess is that there are a number of players are considering entering the portal after they play in their bowl games. There may be several hundred players that Transfer in the first week of January and could be even more if
the two transfer rule is held up by the courts.

Re: The Spectrum Decibel Meter Kickstarter is live!
while watching the tournament I noticed at least 2 arenas that had decibel meters. these were programed into their scoreboards I would guess that this would be fairly simple and just require some programing. If this could be done it would eliminate many of the obstacles that USU had concerns about.

Re: The Spectrum Decibel Meter Kickstarter is live!
So has USU agreed that once there's a decibel meter purchased, they'll install it, use it, and feature it in the Spectrum? In the past several groups have tried to get this done but were met with resistance. Once it was the universities risk management did not not like the liability. The other time...

Re: MWC Tournament Officiating
you have to realize there are more division 1 games being played today than during the season and consequently more officials are needed than at any other time. The money conferences pay more and get the best officials and we only have the leftovers to choose from. Hopefully by the time the semi-fin...

I believe Wells is still getting paid by Texas Tech thru 2024. He could take a minimal salary for the next two years and Texas Tech would still have to pay the difference. Similar arrangements were made when we brought Huepal and Yost in

Has Alex DeVine been shown the door? If not, why not? Only reason I can see why not is if all these transfers are due to NIL, but I'd find that somewhat hard to believe. It's not like our D-line was dominant all season. These players were good enough MWC players, but they're far from being world be...

Several former aggies that played in the NFL have been put off by our approach, From what I have been told by others is they have been asked to donate to the Merlin Olsen fund where the money would go to coaches not to help the players. This has put them off on donating to the program. On the other ...

USA Today ranks us as the wost 5-5 team in FBS. That’s not a ringing endorsement for a bowl. There had better be more slots than eligible .500 teams for us to get bowl consideration because we don’t stack up well in a beauty contest. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2022/11/14/oregon-ucl...

I believe they changed the rules on the selection of of 5 win teams. They have to pick teams based on their APR (academic achievement rates).and they 6-6 teams get the better bowl games first. Anyone know where we stand now

Treat it like a sales job for a fortune 500 company
200k base salary and 1% commision on total revenue.
This would start out similiar to what we are paying Thompson but would give the new guy an incentive to increase revenue
from tv, streaming and sponsorships.

You could do the Game faqs strategy. Buy a ticket on a sold out flight. Get to the airport and wait for the person at the gate to announce they will give you $500.00 plus a free ticket to take the next flight. repeat again for the next games. pretty soon you have free airfare to all of our away game...

What A.D s have told me they are looking for when scheduling a home and home. Connecticut meets this criteria an...

Time will tell but my guess is that we will see contraction with the p5 teams before we see further expansion.
