Re: When youth sports gets nasty

I spent the last three years as a district president in the Ute Conference little league football. The best thing to help with the parent problems was to move the sidelines back. The wider the sidelines the less problems with parents.

He appears to have a better build than this kid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aI67KDJRnvQ That kid has zero business playing basketball. He is more fragile than my mother-in-law’s China. I am surprised more players don't go into the portal. It gives you a chance to talk to other schools and perhaps gauge your value. It is not binding. You can come back to your original school and if you choose to leave anyway your old school can't limit your choices.. Because it is voluntary for th...

Re: Projecting Next Season's Depth Chart

If, as reported, the staff is looking for a future P G they had better get rocking. Certainly the college basketball player inventory routinely changes, but hoping for a good athletic and locker room fit and not moving toward a real solution isn't solving any problems. Waiting another season before...

On his mom’s side there are a few Utah State diploma’s on the wall as well. The time that Jaxon was making his de...

Per the article he played his freshman year at feather river CC in good old Quincy, CA. Interesting that what really caused him problems were his grades. Nobody at the HS ever checked them.

Too many. I remember as a kid going to the UNLV games with my dad and seeing the tents outside the south entrance where the students had lined up days before the game. It isn't always easy to teach high school freshman about long term consequences of behaviors. My oldest is in 8th grade and it is a constant battle in regards to his schoolwork. He doesn’t seem to care until we get after him. He is plenty smart but the care factor for grades is minimal. We are hopi...

Shaq Bond and Fortenberry were both bad ACL/knee injuries, so they definitely won't be back. If his ACL was that bad, will he even be ready for next year? I have nightmares about Chuckie coming back too soon. Personal opinion, he rushed it, should have stayed out rehabbing another year. aggies22 » ...
