Re: Negative Contribution By Players Outside Top Three

Good info

The TS% from Miller and Brito is just brutal. Whenever someone refers to Miller as a shooter I’m reminded of the Jerry Sloan quote about having a shooting guard but he needs a making guard.

Re: I believe that we got iced by the fouls and review time

And I thought OPs take that LSU football was overrated was bad No team's defense accomplished to getting to LSU's weakness. Good for LSU, no defense could really get that offense with the pass rush and coverage that was needed. Many said here were bragging how good LSU was without facing elite team...

Re: Smith recruiting

This class that was supposed to be our best ever is not contributing at all.

Anderson started out hot but has become an afterthought. Bairstow needs 30 minutes. McChesney is redshirting. Was hoping this group would take minutes from Brito and Miller but they haven’t

I don’t dislike them but they definitely don’t seem to care like they did last year. No longer the lovable underdog. Just like football. Seems like everyone is just waiting for something bad to happen and then it does and we fold

Re: Coach Andersen with DJ&PK 1/17/20

Interesting. I figured Maile would be calling the plays and Collins as DC was about a title bump and pay increase to reward his recruiting efforts. I wasn't blown away by Maile when he called defensive plays before so I am not upset about this, but a tad surprised. I think we've heard Shaver called...

Wow. I'm not sure I've heard of a demotion of this level while still keeping the coach on staff? Ena was hired specifically to be the DC. Yeah he is essentially back in the same spot he was at Utah but now at Utah State. Can't be happy about it but honestly it is justified. Glad GA is willing to ma...

There are the following that I noticed with this season: 1) Injuries are a real problem, and we look injured all the time. 2) A number of opposing teams for the most part are cowards. They are afraid and will resort to anything to not play our core 3 best players. 3) Bairstow and Dorius are develop...

Anderson didn’t close out on a 3 that I think put them up 17-11 and smith lost his mind at him. Wasn’t surprised we didn’t see him much more given his reaction but was surprised he was so upset

Teams trap Sam on picks and no one else can make teams pay for it. Brito and Miller are not doing enough to justify their minutes.

We don’t have anyone else that can create their own shot. Not sure how our offense gets much better unless Queta can consistently command double teams

2 years ago I watched NMSU beat us in the Arzona Bowl.
Who’s head were you calling for then?!?!??
Following that game Wells finally completely let go of the offense and added Patterson as DC. So structural changes were made which is what some people want now.

Counterpoint — why not Lee Corso?
Haha I mean a scrotum removal is probably bad enough without regard to the person doing it. Seems very specific. At least he’d be able to tell Gameday stories during the ordeal.

Not sure how to articulate it or what the real problem is, but something is off with the program. Players look like they don't care. No discipline on the field. Poor schemes. No one seems to be having fun. Kent State was excited and played with passion. We looked like we were taking the Bar Exam. Cu...

CSU seems like the perfect springboard job to a P5 school for an ambitious young coordinator or fcs coach. Not sure why they hire retreads or middling coordinators like Bobo.

Glad they didn’t pursue Jay Hill or offer Aranda.

If we are going to play in Salt Lake it should be against a consistent tournament type program from out-of-state. If it is done in conjunction with BYU, great, i.e. USU v. Gonzaga and BYU v. Re: Temperature based pricing.

Temperature based pricing is a pretty good gimmick for golf courses when 18 and a cart is usually $40-50 and the low temp might cut that cost in half late in the season. Not sure it works in this context. It is somewhat clever but this seems like a 5-10% discount at most. Do the high temp that day g...

I want Utah to go far because I believe it will hurt BYU. The rise of Utah and Utah State hurts BYU, so I am all for it. I think I agree with this line of thinking.
