Baylor lost to Washington. I could see them drop a couple spots. Could also see Ohio State jump us(AP Poll) with their win over Cincinnati.
Called it! :cool2:

There were a lot of empty seats for a top 20 team playing against an in-state rival from less than an hours drive away.
Agreed, however, we were competing with 2 valley high schools hosting quarterfinal football games and the Globetrotters at Ridgeline high school.

Ridgeline fires Van Leeuwen?

High School sports are becoming cut throat, letting a guy go after just one season at 4-8. Opening the door for Mike Favero, the best high school football coach the valley has ever seen?

Usually when the Aggies lose in the Spectrum it takes a 30+ point stand out performance by an opponent. This had all the makings of one of those rare home losses so credit to the Aggies to fight that pressure off and pull out the win.

Where's the foul?

College basketball games, last night in particular, are way over officiated anymore. Neither team was allowed to play defense. It's frustrating to go to a game only to watch a free throw shooting contest.

Re: Game day experience fail

A wise friend told me years ago that USU football will always be a donkey-dick operation. He's generally been right, outside of the anomalous 11-2 season once a decade yet even in those finest years our only sellouts will ever be Boise St or BYU where 20% of the ticket sales are to the BYU band. How...

The thing that excites me most about this team is the depth and interchangeability between multiple positions...endless options for mismatches and adjustments. We go 11 deep that I feel confident would be good even as starters most years.

I was pleasantly surprised by Stall's explosiveness at the rim. If Queta could develop a strong rim game he would be a Shaq like force in the college game. If Queta, Kuba, Stall and Dorius all get and stay healthy this year...watch out! This deep has some serious depth.

Over on their board all they can talk about is their upcoming game in Ogden. I'm assuming it's because they play Weber State right after us and it means they have finally found a conference in the Big Sky that will take them in. Re: And the BYU spread is...

Home teams are generally given a field goal on the spread so this game is basically a pick 'em which is disappointing that our season is turning out this way given that we are only favored by a FG at home against a team that hasn't won even a share of a conference title in 12 years.

Re: How Big Is This Game Really?

This is the least important of our remaining games. Having said that, should we lose any of our remaining 4 conference games and not have a shot at the division championship, then this game takes on more meaning to not lose to an in state team.
