Re: Biggest Frustration last night

This team isn't recognizing what it needs to do to be the team it can be. Some small things they could be doing, would lead to big dividends on the floor, such as: They need to set real screens for Merrill to shake him loose. Every team we play is loading up on the side of the floor where Merrill is...

Guys, keep this in mind when considering Gary's recruits: Somebody mentioned we had a plethora of "diamonds in the rough." This is exactly the way he recruited the last time. I have seen Love projected to go as early as 6 to the Chargers to several in the middle of the 1st round (Tennessee and Indianapolis) to late in the first round to the Saints at 30. I thought I also saw one in the second round to the Giants, but I'm not sure. How he played this season has nothing to...

This is still going to be a great season. The team is exactly the same one as last year. They're having some challenges reintegrating Neemias Queta back into the flow. They will get it. We might not be ranked, but who cares. We'll start winning, and winning at the end of the season is when it really...

BTW, Miller is shooting 31 percent from 3 point land, 38 percent overall. With only 2.7 rebounds per game, a believe a starting line up of Bean, Anderson, Queta, Merrill and Porter is in our future, with Brito the first guy off the bench. Miller is a one trick pony who's "trick" isn't playing right ...

The other thing is we cannot allow is for Miller to “shoot us out of the game” while he attempts to find his range. If he’s not hitting, I think Smith needs to immediately go with Brito, who is a little more heady, and willing to take it to the rack if the 3-pointer is not working, while Brock stand...

Ken Pomeroy said its USU's defense versus BYU's offense that is the key, plus the return of Neemias Queta. Rayshad Lewis, our last brush with Maryland, had a "meh" career there. He split time between defensive back and wide receiver, and wasn't really great at either. Had better success returning kicks. Probably would have had a better career had he stayed in "podunk" Logan, Utah.

From a financial perspective we should hope and pray for the New Mexico or Cheese It Bowls. In this day and age, the fact that the Arizona Bowl only pays $413K is a disgrace.

Dorius is pretty good at getting up and down the floor, and he's a willing rebounder. But he is not "quick twitch" in any way. Just doesn't seem to have a lot of court awareness, at this point. A lot of that is attributable to the fact that he's been away for a couple of years. There was an example,...
