Re: Some Thoughts

I'm sorry going for the 4th and 1 is not even a consideration if you have any grasp on the game . D has stopped La Tech and they would just need one more stop we get the ball back with 2 30- 3 30 left on the clock. I take my chances and let my D do what it has been doing all game. You don't get the...

I'm a runner & I've seen people who look like really good runners at the starting line. I've also heard people talking who sound like really good runners! I've also learned that lots of these people can only run 10 minute miles or slower. Is that what we have here?

Doesn't the fact that people are talking about Boise and AFA going to the Big East kinda prove ViAggie's hypothesis? I guess I suffer from that Ad Hominem adoration thingy too.

Re: Frosh Love Affair#16 OVER Bring on AK#2!

Less than 50 yards by our wide receivers in the game. UNACCEPTABLE. Need some semblance of balance to keep D off balance and put the game away. However, it is not Chuckies fault, he can throw a good deep pass with touch. For whatever reason, our coaching staff would rather play dink & dunk. 4 catche...

Re: and Baldwin is responsible for losing another one

The only thing that I would like Baldwin to change is our pass plays, we've become to predictable when throwing the ball. The Y had 7,8,9 guys in the box and we ran it down their throats. On the passing game our o-line isn't very good at pass blocking they were getting pressure even when they only ...

Re: and Baldwin is responsible for losing another one

I'm not a football genius, but I always hear "RUN, TO SET UP THE PASS" and vice-versa from aficionado's on tv. Maybe we should try that once in a while. If the other team doesn't respect, or believe, that you will pass then you have the extra burden of running a play that they know you are running.

Re: and Baldwin is responsible for losing another one

I must've missed how it is Baldwin's fault that our defense let a backup quarterback who has trouble throwing the ball down field march 96 yards in 3 minutes on us. Oh wait it isn't. This loss wasn't on Baldwin or the offense. Amazing the hate he gets. He has done a great job as our Offensive Coord...

Really more Baldwin hate? haha, Baldwin is a great OC, and we are lucky to have him. We aren't an "air it out" type of team. We have a true freshman quarterback who threw for 86 yards. If you take a typical coach who is teaching football players decision making strategy in a controlled classroom setting, do most coaches tell punt returners to try and catch a punt at the 15 yard line when your team is up by 8 with 2 minutes and change left in the game? Exactly. Nothing to be gaine...

If we agree to 2-1s with BYU right now during their desperate independence stage then we truly have incompetent leaders. How so? I do not think that the Georgetown loss hurt us. I do not see us being 30-2 (without a loss to G-town) as being that much better than 30-3.
