Re: Random Musings: A Better Bowl than a potatoe

i could not agree more with trehogi74. Why would you rather play Ball State than have a shot at Texas or Oklahoma State?? It is a huge measuring stick game for our program to play a nationally recognized program and we could redeem ourselves for the loss to the Badgers. I say we head south to Tempe ...

how can somebody that big have no capability of finishing around the rim? He is a physical big guy, but he hurts us because he is not an option on offense. I think Lopez would have been a big help to our team last night had he been eligible.

Re: After last night...

brian5562 i think we need to play a tougher schedule to get back to greatness. Aside from last night's game i dont see a game on our schedule that the fans will be crazy about. Next year's home schedule should satisfy that, however.

Re: Utah Jazz 2012-13 Outlook

Ty Corbin is a joke. Millsap and Jefferson will most likely be gone after this year so he needs to think down the road.. If he continues to give Favors minimal minutes and leave Burks out of the rotation they will leave as soon as their contracts are up and we will be left out in the cold.

I agree with those points. Millsap and big al need to realize that with them as the 2 stars of our team we are going nowhere. Let the youngsters play. They're better anyway!!

Utah Jazz 2012-13 Outlook

I am stoked for the start of another Jazz season. I think the Jazz haven't been getting the preseason love they deserve, and i am just fine with that. I think with the development of Kanter and Favors as well as adding 3 point shooters, the Jazz are going to surprise a lot of people. I think they wi...

i was thinking the same thing. I thought "oh no, another Brayden Bell, transfers from a big school and is a bust" but Jarred looked like a monster in the second half.

Wow. I was so impressed with TeNale Roland tonight i think his shooting ability and his knowledge of running an offense will really benefit us. And we also have a very athletic big man (Shaw) who i love. I have really high hopes for this team.

Get it right Flygare

every single time there is a touchback, flygare says "first and ten so and so on their own 20 yard line" has he not realized there was a rule change?? I probably shouldn't be so upset about it but it is really irritating that he can't get it right when the season is 3/4 the way over.

What is the Deinition of "slowing them down"? If that means keep them under 40 then i think we can do that. If it means keep them to under 25 then i'm not so sure. If i had to give a prediction i think we win the game. Our offense isn't quite as good as theirs but their defense is nowhere near our d...

Finish the 1st Half, we win the game

Don't get me wrong, our Defense most definitely did NOT lose us the game last night, but you have to think they weren't entirely focused on closing the half. We shouldn't let a team drive down the field in less than 30 seconds to score a TD. That being said, Josh Thompson is a sorry excuse for a kic...

I think we could in fact see a repeat World Series. IF the Cardinals make the playoffs, they have the horses to beat the Reds, Nationals, Giants. I don't think anybody from the AL is going to beat Texas. I hope it is a repeat Series, and i hope it is as exciting as it was last year.

Utah State 31
SUU 14

I believe this is the year our defense can consistently hold opponents to 20-30 points a ball game. I would guess we allow about 21 pts a game and go 9-3 on the year.

Re: Has the East passed up the West in the NBA?

The East is better than the west, to answer the question. But i believe in Mo Williams. He is an upgrade over Harris, and he can consistently knock down the open trey, unlike Harris. I look for the Jazz to be a 45-50 win team next season and a 6-8 seed.

I, like most, thought the jazz could win at least one game. I was pretty sure the series would go 5. Well it didn't. BUT, Derrick Favors must be the starter next year. He is too talented to be coming off the bench. Trade JEfferson and Harris for a solid PG and a bench big guy

The first 5 or 6 years we were in the WAC, we played the conference tournament on the home court of one of the schools(nevada, NMSU) then it was finally switched to a neutral site for the past couple years. It seems we have nearly finalized next year's roster, and on Paper this team can be really, really good. I know it's only on Paper but we have great potential.
Potential starters(just my opinion)
1. Roland
2. Butterfield
3. Medlin
4. Reed(until Lopez is eligible)
5. Shaw(same as^)

what say ye?
