Re: Recruiting

Aggies22, it seem Craig and company like to keep recruiting under their hat more than we all like. But, do you know who we are targeting whether, transfer, juco, or hs? While this is true and sometimes it can be difficult to know who we have REALLY contacted versus who we have not. I can say with c...

Re: New Position Changes Depth Chart

I'm confused about Lefeged's switch. Is he playing 'Nickel'? or is he playing that new hybrid LB position similar to what Roquemore played (The SPUR position)? This article in the Deseret News and interview with Coach A makes it sound like Lefeged will actually be in the Nickel spot. https://www.de...

I think a grad transfer can pretty much go anywhere their heart desires.

Re: Recruiting

Two things. 1. Vance Jackson is not coming here. 2. It is beginning to look like we need to go to juco or guys that "may" have to sit out, like AJ Walker. I know Vance Jackson wouldn't come here but I just thought it was ironic that two of us were just discussing him in a "what if he transfers" sce...

Re: Recruiting

I'm hoping that Anthony is the guy, but if he isn't we are in dire need of someone to pick up Sam's ability to defend other teams top offensive threats. As we look at the prospects among the transfers, all we have is offensive numbers and have no idea if they can defend grandma in a wheel chair. Al...

Is it just me or are all these grad transfers shooting above their league? UVU to USC/Arizona? :wtf: Seems like a HUGE jump. I agree. It does appear there a lot of grand transfer PG's out there now. I think it might be hard to convince a grad transfer to come to a team as a depth piece though.

Re: Jordan Love #23 Pick CBS Sports Mock Draft

I can't imagine the tremendous pressure that will be on the quarterback that replaces Tom Brady in New England. The expectations in that town are very high. How patient will they be with a rookie quarterback? That's a good question. I doubt they would plug a rookie in right away. I think they would...

New guard transfers from yesterday that seem interesting at least. Some of them probably are high major guys in Carlik Jones and Carter Diarra. Diondre was Chuckie before we had Chuckie.
It's funny that we were all going after Guy for burning Borel's redshirt. But given the timing of us getting Chuckie, it turned out to be a good thing.
Hindsight is always 20/20. There was no way of knowing that we had Chuckie Keeton on the horizon.

Agreed, several teams that would have typically filled their QB vacancies through the draft have all signed free agent QBs instead. I chalk this one up to a VERY unusually strong free-agent QB class.
