Re: Farewell

Provo, I've seen the percentage argument before. Utah State University as a whole, and even Logan City, still doesn't understand what it needs to do to make a football weekend an event in Logan . It should be a mini vacation for most people along the Wasatch Front. Solid observation by AggieFBO, an...

Re: Ena (USU) vs Tiaki (BYU) --- Defensive Coordinator

I had this exact same discussion today with a byu co-worker. It makes sense. They come from the same Utah coaching tree. The Utah scheme has worked really well down there for many years. I don't think we'll see the same success with it. I hope there will be some re-evaluation of that scheme for nex...

Wasn't my first year but living in Logan I went to all the AGGIE home football games and what a reward. A special place, a special time. I loved being part of this time line, including the IDAHO game. At the end of the first quarter only half the field had been played in due to the dominance of Utah...

What I said Provo, was there were 132,000 seats including the U, Y and us, and at the Mav we only have 5.28% of that capacity. From a numbers perspective that's not a lot of heavy lifting to do to bump our attendance up to just 25,000 patrons per game. I drive from Sandy for the football games and w...

I.m disappointed in the season and the butt kicking in the bowl game, but I think I shall stay, and give the coach some time to improve the program. I see some rationale for this that's reasonable. I note many stout opinions posted here, yet the reality is ENA inherited a very solid returning group of proven athletes and misused two fine outside linebackers in a stogy l4-3 set defense that failed the call this year. Second half play was poor in close games and further evidence that D C Ena jus...

Short term loss with Justin Gardner, yet we have signed a high value Freshman D B for the long run. There is a possibility he may play in 2020 as he has established himself as a high value real football player.
