I have to go with the last game, also because it happened at a pressure packed time.

The only reason Boise is playing them is that AF is playing Army soooooo there was an extra team.

I missed the end, but I figured a ten point lead and the ball with 4 minutes left was good to go.

They are talking about an 8 game season with championship 12 19. They would be better served with a 6 or 7 game season so they have a bit if wiggle room for outbreaks. They coulfd keep 1-2 weeks clear for make up games. The 8 game slat has no escape valve.

Re: OCT 24
Lots of December home games. Seriously they should go for a 5-6 game season so they have wiggle room if there are issues. It is not great, but it could be completed with certainty, and grab enough tv money.

Re: Your Turn Mtn West
The MWC should never have cancelled as early they did, now they reap the consequences of their stupidity.
It is too late, worry about getting hoops started on time, then get ready to start in 2021 on time. The MWC has sunk below the Sun Belt now, congrats.

I have to regrettably give BYU props for playing this year. It was a stupid politically motivated desire to beat Trump which was a huge factor in the conference presidents cancelling the season.

Re: BYU plays in 1 week
Army just played today. No reason we shouldn't be able to. West Point isn't going to put their cadets in harms way if they can avoid it. They had 4,500 Cadets who were allowed to attend with masks and no other fans. The team had been operating in a bubble. Yeah it isn't ideal, but sports have found...

I read somewhere that all the UTAH schools would be put in a bubble for OOC games. If all 7 schools played each other twice that would be 12 games OOC.

Athletic departments are being decimated, don’t think this is going to happen for a long time, which is fine with me as I love the Spectrum as is.

Hopefully they don’t kill basketball, but if any of you think there will be spring football you have smoked too much crack.
Spring football was just a ploy to avoid a backlash over the fall season.

Re: Outrage, or at least displeasure with Cancelled MWC Sports
From a conference standpoint, it makes sense for the MWC to cancel as the TV contracts are too small to offset the losses of no road money game and No fans in The seats. For the P5 they get enough TV to more than offset the losses, which is why the 3 are going for it. I think those 3 leagues are goi...

Re: Looks like the Big 12 is giving it a go for the Fall
MWC certainly quit too soon. This could have been done a few weeks later. The players are better off on campus wherE they can be checked, etc. The PAC also cancelled hoops until 1 1 21.

Re: Basket ball in a mucked up year
My guess with MAC cancelling until spring, there will be no football till at least spring and basketball is very much on life support. It makes no sense to have it unless burrs can be in the seats as TV revenue in the MWC isn’t enough to make it viable.

The MWC says no games before 9 26, SUU has EWU on 9 26, USU has an open date then. I am not sure who USU has for 10th game.

I normally don't venture over to cougarboard, but I saw the Big 12 announcement of 9+1 games and knew that the cougar faithful were really hoping to fill their schedule with some P5 competition from that conference. Anyway, full melt down over there, everyone is out to get them, etc. I think the be...

Cy Young 511 wins, starters now will have difficulty passing 300. Hoss Rayburn also won 60 games in a single season. I think Cy Young's record of complete games is another in the category of untouchable. His career high is over 100 complete games more than the 2nd place guy. His individual season h...

Re: Colombi Transferring
I honestly believe that in a vacuum there is not much difference between Colombi and Shelley as far as production. The real problem comes in how this move affects the rest of the team though and how they produce as a group now. I guess I don't see the value in the risk versus reward with this decis...
