Re: ZERO 4th qtr points in last 3 games.

most teams we play should just call the game after the 3rd quarter, save us all some time. It's embarrassing to see these guys finally score a few td's and then do stupid things like go for two or do an onside kick. Honestly if I was coaching and a team did that to me after letting off the gas, I'd...

When in doubt I return to my "Rooting Guidelines" to help me: 1) Aggies 2) Any opponent of BYU 3) Any opponent of Utah 4) Any opponent of Boise 5) Any conference member that benefits that Aggies by winning, so long as it's not the Tator Zoobs. 6) Any G5 vs a P5 so long as it's not BYU or Boise *Rem...

I keep hearing this paying players stuff. These schools are already losing money in athletics minus a handful of schools. I'm curious how the financial side will look when you've got to pay the best players.

Re: NAR Utah targeting

I thought the first one was probably the correct call according to the rule but the rule is unworkable in that situation. And I hate that it’s an ejection. Force them to sit for a few plays or something on the first one if that’s what you want and then eject then if they get multiple targeting call...

Re: Thoughts on the AAF in SLC?

Think of it like a developmental league for the NFL. It has a lot of backing of former players and guys who have been around the NFL for a while. The team concept is interesting as they are looking for regional players to boost name recognition and hopefully bring in some fans. The theory right now ...

Absolute madness in Group F today. Sweden, on the verge of elimination, manhandles Mexico to win the group. Doesn't this rule include a break away type situation? I might be getting an old rule confused but for some reason I thought if there wasn't a defender between the ball and the basket a foul of that nature becomes flagrant?
