Re: Mark Harlan is a pussy....

A football game in SLC without an equal return must come with a $1mil check. If it doesn't were better off playing a team with more name recognition. That was the issue if I remember right. We offered to play a one and done but Utah didn't want to pay what a typical money game would pay us. Basical...

Re: The week 0 of world cup soccer qualifying is tonight

USA losing to Jamaica tonight isn’t giving much hope for WCQ, even if it was “just a friendly” with an “experimental roster” Aside from Bradley and Altidore that team was very inexperienced. I'm just glad Arena isn't around. Hopefully we really do have a plan moving forward. Jamaica played well, bu...

Re: 1280 top 60

I don't get the emotion around the top 60 list. It has zero impact on anything that matters in terms of W's. If we win and play well we get respect, if not, we don't. Based upon market size and fan base the Utes and Cougs will always get more pub but we have been getting plenty of love based upon h...

Great that he is coming back and I think we should be a tourney team again but I think this year is going to be a lot tougher than some on this board. We will absolutely have a target on our back this year - every team we play will gunning for us. People will expect us to be good not last place or ...

This is the eventual fall back of BYU every time things don't work out for them perfectly. Lets blow up the nearby conferences, crown ourselves the leaders, and start something new. Then give it 5 to 10 years when they aren't the "best" in the conference and repeat the process all over again.

UNLV fans are like BYU fans -- remembering that fluke national championship from the '80s and expecting it to surely happen again. But you can't cheat your way to a title like Tark did any more. And now that Vegas will have the Knights and the Raiders to occupy the attention of real sports fans fro...

How much does a charter bus cost? It would be much safer than the van and you could get a few more people on it. I was in school when the ag students crashed I don't want to see that again.

When we played Arizona in Boise a bunch of years ago our allotment was easily taken. Someone donated the money for every student who put in for the lottery to go to the first round. Tons of USU fans at that game. I would expect the turn out in SLC to huge. If you haven't been buy one of the sessions...

Lots of Lobo fans on Facebook saying the refs cost them the game tonight. I'm honestly not sure how... No kidding. New Mexico forced 24 turnovers, but at the cost of 29 fouls and 45 USU free throws. I don’t think too many were bad calls except for the one where Queta should have been called for tra...

I used to run an office one with cbs and still do a family league there. No money involved so it just keeps track of scoring/standings. Gives you a bunch of different options on how much each game is worth.

It might not be the best but it has worked well.

A few years back they acknowledged that they may take a team down a seed or two to keep them closer to their city. It sounded like it was just part of the process but not a major factor.
