Re: WAC is quickly turning into the TAC!!

Hmmmmm. Last I looked all three of those schools (4 including Hawaii) have larger athletic budgets, bigger fan base, more televisions, and historically and presently much better football teams ----- and yet it is USU that has the leg up. Sorry. I'm not buying your logic but am open minded enough, a...

Re: WAC Counters for hawaii

I'm all for getting Hawaii just for football. You only have to travel there once every two years. Other than that, we don't need Hawaii. A lot teams dont want to be in the WAC because of the expense of traveling to Hawaii (basketball, volleyball, etc), so losing them may open up doors for teams that...

Re: So, Hawaii to the MWC...

I suppose the travel expense thing isn't as big a deal when you're only considering football. Basically every 2 years you have to travel to Hawaii, and that's it. Good move for Hawaii football, but obviously they don't care as much about their other sports like basketball. The WAC wants to add North...

Re: WAC??? Where's the outrage??????

Gus, there definitely is a market for USU throughout the Wasatch Front. I'm just looking at metro sizes. And if you look at metro size numbers, you'll notice the trend with football, is the bigger the better. Other sports such as basketball have more parity. But with football it's really all about t...

Re: Odds of Aggies being invited to MWC during next 12 month

TCU jumps and I think there's a strong possibility. They don't want to lose the Utah market. Especially with Mtn being apart of the local dish network lineups. They'd probably lose out on that. They also wouldn't have as much ability to recruit C-USA teams with Utah, BYU, and TCU being gone. Plus, I...

Re: WAC??? Where's the outrage??????

I think it should be noted Cache Valley is very small, population and market size, for a competitive D-1 football program. One of the smallest out there. On top of that, we haven't had a winning program. We should be happy we're where we are. We went from Big West, to Sunbelt, to Independent, to fin...

Re: Questions for Logan visit

There's Aggy's, a pretty popular sports-bar type place, with decent pizza and lot of TVs. It's in the north part of town, about 2500 North Main. Firehouse pizza on the south part of town, about 1000 South Main, also has TVs. Factory Pizza and Iron Gate grill are also good suggestions.
