Re: Will the magic be back tonight?

I don't know what you guys mean by "magic". Does "magic" happen only when the student section is full? Cuz if that's the case, I'm pretty certain that's not gonna happen tonight. Does magic happen when all the blue-hairs and non-student fans actually cheer? Cuz that only happens when a game is comi...

Re: Season ticket renewals ?

True. With all the complaints we have it seems as though our attendance is always better for night games. Maybe the AD will pull a shocker and lower the prices. Again, I was told first week of Feb. Anybody talk to somebody else in the department about it?

Coach Smith has gotten the most out of his players. I am ecstatic where we are as a team. It's all gravy now as we have surpassed expectations.

Re: Season ticket renewals ?

I was told first week of Feb by two athletic officials. Only question is the pricing on it. I know the tix office now reports to campus and not athletics anymore. I'm sure they have a say in it now. I bet the price goes up with the home schedule and better team. Most likely late kicks coming too.

Crazy to think that we all felt like we were behind in MWC basketball under Stew and Tim. Coach Smith comes in and flips the program.

Would imagine that would be a compliance issue. I find it funny that we are saying that being an Aggie Advocate, being a fan and engaging makes him qualified. I am sure there are other successful college and high school coaches who are more qualified than him.

Coach Smith's gets the most out of his players in my opinion. Koby would have been utilized effectively under his direction.

Coach Pete is a dang good coach. He gets the most out of his teams. He rarely gets out coached and his teams always seem to be prepared. Dan Hawkins success at Boise was really because of Coach Pete. He was the brains behind it all.

In essence that is what every mid-major school hopes for, that they at least get something in return for their coach leaving. The reality is that high buyouts, clauses and stricter contracts aren't feasible to mid-major schools anymore. It puts leverage in the institution when coaches, agents want i...

I’ve been saying this entire season that the aac is benefiting from being on the east coast and we’re way overrated. The top 3 from the mwc were on par with UCF and could have beaten the rest of the conference.

Side note, AAC schools are top-heavy with $$$. More than the MWC.

He is qualified. Director of PP is the lead for recruit relations. Assists coaches and specifically the recruiting coordinator in recruiting functions. Big role. Per compliance rules he is not a "coach," but within a program will be referred as a coach. Not an on-field coaching position.
