Re: WIN-A-THON PLEDGE ($4.930 Pledged)

What a great season! So far we have raised a total of $4,930. This assumes a Top 25 finish since we are currently top 25 in the coaches poll and will likely rise in all polls with the convincing bowl victory. If anyone else would like to join in and support the incoming coaching staff please post to...

Re: Maile offered by GA

He already tried leaving USU for Vandy for a huge bump in pay. But ended up back at USU as a co-DC. It may be hard for him to swallow not being DC, but I assume he'd be making as much or more than he made last year if he stays. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I have heard that Frank and others have been contacted by some big schools. It is not a automatic that they will stay if Gary gives them the opportunity. That could be - lets hope GA keeps FM Haven't we already heard this discussion about Spencer Nelson. Bottom Line -- Gary will do what he believes...

Re: 8 Team Playoff coming?

I’m skeptical that they will reserve a spot for the top G5, especially if the pressure to expand is coming from the P5 conferences that tend to get left out, such as the P12 and B10 this year. I think it is conceivable to think a teams like Ohio State and Georgia could contend for the playoff if it...

We are not currently “likely” to get into the NCAA tourney in spite of the bellwether Net Rating statistic. In all of Stew's time, we never got above a 12 seed, correct? Granted, the WAC was a one-bid league and some of those Aggie teams certainly deserved better than a 12. It would be insane to get a 9-seed and go up against an 8-seed. We'd have a good shot at getting a win in the tournament. 2011 - (30...

Genuine question... What is exciting about the prospect of players transferring to USU from a mediocre team who we kicked the crap out of this year? I think GA is better at developing players than Sitake is, for one. The ceiling is higher under GA at USU than Sitake at BYU. So these guys with raw p...
