One other note from Bozeman.....

92% on 24 foul pitches(as Rod Tueller would say) didn't suck. I realize that 8 of those were Merrill but even the bigs in warmups looked like they had good form. The charity stripe always plays a role in tight games and it appears that Smith is committed to improving in this area as well.

Re: Sam Merrill

We (my dad, two sons, two brothers, and a nephew) went to Bozeman last night to watch the game. Sam's dad (John) talked to us for the entire halftime. Says everyone loves the new staff. I expressed gratitude that Sam didn't jump ship. He basically said that Sam is a third generation Aggie and was ne...

Officiating Miss

On the out of bounds play, with the video review, both officials and both commentators missed that the Boise player had stepped out of bounds with both feet before he knocked it off Brown's foot. Ended up not being a factor but could have been a huge miss.

Re: Visitors 12/3

I want Taua because he broke many of Lompoc legend Napoleon Kaufman's records. I saw Kaufman play in Lompoc while on my mission. Taua doesn't look to have the speed or agility of Kaufman but he strikes me as a ball of hate that can dish out some pain on linebackers and a secondary.

Matt Wells reminds me of a certain unnamed politician. He tells me that the trajectory of the program is headed in the right direction. He tells me that we are doing things "the right way." He tells me that the state of the program has never been stronger. He tells me that I am being too critical an...

Maybe he's not a pocket passer because the pocket collapses anywhere from .6 to .9 seconds. If Weber and Arky State consistently get to the backfield that fast, what will a mediocre mountain west team do to our oline?

Just when I look forward to posts from specific individuals over the years, paaron46 drops this chestnut: "Insinuating that the intent of the reporter is glory for themselves and not a well-researched quest for the facts is such a silly notion." The mantra of our "media" is: IF YOUR EMOTIONALLY RIGH...

the honest question for me is this: Are the offensive difficulties more of a reflection of Webber, Mcgiven or a lack of talent on the oline or a combination of all three? Yeah...Apparently playing at 7200 elevation prevents us from throwing to our tight ends more than once per game, it requires 6-7 bubble screens that go no where but backwards, and multiple first down runs up the gut that net a collective -10 yards. Damn that 7200 feet. I can't figure out if McGiven ...

Any chance we could lure away Air Force's offensive line coach? Those guys are disciplined despite being way undersized. At the very least, could someone lock Weber in a room with AF video for a few hours (days).

I dont think very many fans are cool with "counseling out" Berger. At the same time why isn't he planted next to kid n play at the end of the bench. I don't care if Berger is 6' 6"...Why isn't Jo Jo getting his (Berger's) 12 minutes per game. Those minutes would go a long way in his development as a...
