Re: Stanley Morrison

Its too bad that Morrison had the diving board accident the summer before his senior year. Doctors told him he may never play again. If a remember right he sat out one full year made it back and played in 2011 for his senior year despite having significant pain. It was obvious he was hurting and he w...

Re: No coaches lunches

Dissapointing news for me. I have enjoyed the luncheons for may years here in Logan. I always felt it was a way athletics
showed they cared about the average donors and gave them a chance to hear from the coaches. I wonder if the change was made
by the coaches or the ad's office

Re: Pac-12 TV Revenue

The goose which was supposed to lay the golden eggs for the Pac-12 has never shown up. Annual projected revenue from the conference-owned network was $5 M per year per school and it is only $1.5 M at the moment. Basketball TV revenue is way down as is attendance for most schools- the worst of both ...

the location was great but the timing of the bowl could not have been worse-the day after christmas. When USU played there I
beleive only 4 or 5 thousand of us made the trip.

Maybe the arizona bowl will take this slot on the tv schedules

The money coming in is fantastic. The sad part is most of it will be used to pay off the loan and for expenses. It may be several
years before athletics gets to use these funds. The overuns on the project changed the returns significantly.

Re: Press Box Dwarfing Stadium

In answer to the original question I do think our press box will dwarf the stadium. Most stadiums have about 45- 50 rows of seats below the Press box. What I understand is we will only have around 30-35 rows. This will move the press box much closer to field which will be great for those in suites ....

It would be nice to see Hervey on the field. He has the speed to run wide which would open up our running game. His
weakness is pass protection.
I have also heard they are trying to get him on the field

When Ken Beazer was assistant A.D. they valued the naming rights at 8 million over 10 years. that is when we had a crappy team and were part of the WAC. The odds may be slim for a player to see the field, but I will be cheering for them if they do make it on the team

I am not arguing the need to recruit speed- just that it should not be the only factor when recruiting a running back.
You could make an argument that our most effective running back( Vigil) this year was also our slowest.

He said many taller lineman are too stiff to get low enough to make the proper ...
