Re: New OC Options

You have to realize that Oklahoma is probably on the hook for his salary for at least the next two years or longer. The way it normally works if a school has a contract to pay a coach 500k a year and then he takes a job for 100k the original school is responsible to pay the difference of $400k per y...

Re: Interesting Tweet from Hunter Sharp

I am pretty sure you can put in your papers for the draft without an agent. The NFL will send the prospective player an evaluation of his draft prospects. The players then can decide to keep his name in the draft or withdraw it and keep in school. My own personal opinion is he will be lucky to be dr...

Re: NAR: Baer to UNLV

It appears UNLV is opening up their wallets to hire good assisantants. Baer was being paid in the 300- 400k price range and had
a three year contract. I would assume UNLV would have to pay in this same neighborhood to lure him away.

I think this is changing- Clune got a two year contract to go to Hawaii and assistants at Colorado are on a three year rolling contract.

Re: Cactus Bowl v. Stanford! Really!...

There was an article in the coloradan newspaper that said it was decided that the Cactus bowl gets the 2nd pick from the Mountain West. Assuming Boise goes to a New Years Bowl, Las Vegas would pick Colorado State. The Cactus Bowl would have to pick between USU and Air Force. I would guess it would c...

If Frontier wouldn't do it, there are other charter companies out there. Although we should always avoid Falcon Air, the company that did the Idaho charter back in 2011. The cost of a charter to Hawaii is very expensive compared to public aircraft. You have to have a much larger plane than we normal...

You need a someone who can hang on to the ball. If you fumble the kickoff it can be a game changer. If BYU had not been offsides on Williams muff it could have changed the outcome of the game. I have much more confidence that will hang on to it with sharp, and or hunt than when were we were earlier ...

I also wondered if the spot was right. It looked like the ball did not make it to the end zone yet they marked the ball on the three.
I thought it should have been marched off at half the distance to the goal. Anyone know the rule?

Colgate and Holy Cross( may be wrong on the names). They struck me as schools known for their academics rather than the
quality of the basketball team.
