Re: Great Osobor
I don’t believe it’s the transfer portal or NIL that are “ruining college sports” (though I do have my issues with both). I believe it’s the free unlimited transfer rule. I was cool with allowing one free transfer. But most of these guys are doing their second or third transfer knowing they’ll be a...

Re: Great Osobor
There was a time when the student part of the equation was really important. I miss that time. I'll have to find some older college basketball/ football footage - but I ask myself the question: didn't they used to show the player's majors when they showed their stats and year in school in televised...

Interesting personnel decisions tonight for the Cavs. Merrill shot well and had good numbers/stats and had 18 points in 24 minutes yesterday. Today he plays 4 minutes. A match-up issue?

And the O's start off the season with an 11-3 victory. I was a little surprised at some of the personnel decisions to not bring up guys that are ready for the bigs. We'll see how this goes in the early season. This organization is loaded with talented position players - the Triple A team could prob...

Which begs the question. How much do you offer and invest in a kid that has not played a minute of Div. 1 basketball? Granted, a 4 star kid may have potential, but what is potential worth when it may be realized on the other side of the country. Didn't we get a transfer from a PAC school that was a...

Re: Great Osobor
Great should give half his money to Brown. Great is awesome but will he have a PG that looks for him on every single play and is an incredible post passer. DB had mastered the lost art of feeding the post. I would bet anything we'll see a drop in Great's production next year and a frustrated fan ba...

Josh is 60/40 on staying. If he leaves, I'm super curious to see where an 8 ppg 27% 3pt shooter goes in the transfer portal. Do you think where he goes matters as much to him as how much money someone would be willing to pay him? I don't think the guys are looking at "fit", "culture:, "head coach/m...

Ian was always a going. Even if Sprinkle had stayed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Any insight you can share at all as to why? Like closer to home, NIL, didn't love Logan, etc? Closer to home might be difficult for Ian. I'm talking about the fact that his family lives in northern Virginia wher...

I think this is the way college sports is headed if they don't do something. NO contracts, not limits.....

Re: Aj Storr and going value of top players
Is this money just handed to the kids with nothing in return other than playing ball? That seems like the wrong lesson to teach. If I was going to contribute to an NIL, I would ask for some help landscaping around the yard, cleaning windows and gutters, cleaning bathrooms/ kitchen, washing cars, run...

I wish them both well regardless of where they end up. I hope for support from USU fans for these kids. It hurts, but they're good kids and deserve the best I can give them. 105 pitches in the first start of the year is a lot. Hope it doesn’t hurt him down the road. I am guessing the Astros are treating this as playing with house money. You have a guy that is getting older and could never break into the league. Why not ride that horse until he drops if he's pitching we...

Re: Wesley Brooks Named Head WBB Coach
My question is, why is he just now becoming a HC? It sounds like he should've gotten a shot a lot earlier. Fair question, but he's been an assistant at an extremely high level for a while now. Maybe he hasn't been interested or found the right fit until now. Or maybe the money for a HC at a smaller...

6. Did the number of bars in Logan have any bearing on Sprinkle's decision to leave?
7. Why do coaches and their wives hate Logan so much?
8. Did you find the mole in the AD yet?

The biggest needs I saw from this year's team:
1. Outside shooting
2. A couple of guys that can throw a low post entry pass
3. Another large body that can bang in the post, rebound, and defend the post
