Re: 38 Turnovers / 7 - 32 from 3

Miller needs to get counseled out or permanently sent to the bench. We can't afford someone constantly preforming that bad during key minutes. A lot of guys struggled but that dude is a blck hole out there and almost always has been. Miller was playing with a back injury. Miller was a 43+ % 3-point...

Loyola - IL

Recently made it to final 4 and got a W today.

11-27 on 3 pointers
Starting guards
15-29 FG
11-22 3pt FG

Out rebounded GT 30-17 with 13 offensive boards and 11 total turnovers.

Not to beat a dead horse but until we improve guard play we won’t have success in tournament.

The only time that Utah State won an NCAA tournament game in the modern era was when the Aggies had the best PG they've ever had in Bernard Rock. Think about that. Yes, they had some guys who hit shots, not to take anything away from Curtis Bobb and Tony Brown, but it was Bernard Rock who gave them...

Re: Nice game plan craig

I love the meltdown that occurs after a tough loss to a top 20 team. Would I have loved to win, yes, but give credit to TT they are really good. The team was in the national championship 2 years ago. We were up at half and up by 6 early in the 2nd half. We had at least 12 wide open 3's that were of...

I don't put this loss on coach. Can't overcome 22 turnovers and a lot of those were unforced. Bad passes all game long. Game plan was fine, execution was poor. Wow I guess expectations are pretty low around here, smith is a great guy and his teams play hard, but I don’t think he is even an average ...

There's no incentive for Utah to give the Aggies more exposure by playing them. It's a lose/lose for them. I’m not disagreeing or “calling you out”. So you can’t do anything or compete unless you only benefit? That almost sounds like what kind of players are being developed now - it’s all about the...

My only problem is that BYU game and the SDSU wins were at home. We lost to SDSU on neutral court and going up against TT on neutral court will be pretty daunting task. We have to work so hard to score, it's a huge ask to win a game exhausted against an elite defensive team. The team worked hard just missed too many easy opportunities. In Stew’s final year we went 11-7 in MWC play, and lost a close one in the tournament. I don’t think anyone will argue that team was comparable to what we have now, but we only went 12-6 last year (largely injury related). Roddy is a heck of a player. That said, he uses his bulk to create his game. I felt he could have been called for many fouls that weren't called. Perimeter defense has got to be on par, but I think we'll get it done. Offensively, they have had a hard time stopping us in both games.

USU. 82
CSU. 75
The only stretch they really stopped us was when they went to the 1-1-3 zone and we looked like a deer in the headlights.

Ole Miss plays LSU. It’s win win for them as win boosts them and loss won’t hurt much. Seton Hall plays Georgetown since they beat Villanova so further chance they go further in tournament. I’ll only feel confident winning but would feel good if it’s CSU tomorrow and we beat them.

No score prediction but last two opening round games in the Smith era were tough nail biters that we trailed most of the game (both vs NM I believe)

UNLV has been a tough matchup for us with TJ at the helm. Hopefully our outside shooting or shooting in general travels and we play well on both ends
