Ouch. That one hurts.
This is why an Aggie fan that thinks NIL is a good thing isn't thinking clearly.
Is that why he's transferring, for NIL $$$?

Re: What changes next year???

Hey Aggie family, Football this year was not enjoyable for me much at all. Wondering how others feel. It wasn't just the poor play of the team. But the overall attitude of players and coaches. I don't remember a time in my life where I basically stopped caring about the games. Arrogant and cocky pl...

Re: We surpassed Boise State on average rating for recruits

BLUF: Beat Boise. Recruiting star rankings often seem like a fan & media mini game... recruits may like it too if they have the stars. But it's all for not until we surpass them on the field. Winning recruiting battles is just the start. I don't want to say stars are meaningless. It means something...

Not so fast! SMU is up to Q3... barely, but they're there

Dang, that is a gut punch. He was specifically named by the coaching staff prior to the year as someone to keep an eye on and they were really high on his future. The only time I actually wondered if the refs threw a game was when St. Mary's beat us in the Spectrum in 2009. That was terrible, terrible reffing. Do I think they purposefully threw the game? No. But it was so bad I actually considered the possibility. The worst officiated game, in any sport, tha...

It's a pathetic loss but not a resume killer. What we do from here is far more important. Exactly. Last year, when the team lost it did so in bunches. Will be interesting to see if that's an Odom team identity or an issue that's in the past. They have enough opportunity in front of them on the sche...

This sucks. We wanted UNLV ranked as high as possible. We need chances at Q1 wins. Agreed, would have been nice to get them through OOC before losing. It should help us a little, should move SF to a Q2 win for for USU. Unfortunately, probably leaves them just teetering on the edge and not firmly in...

I'd be happy to forget them unless they have been embarrassed by a bad team.

Re: Jay Hill to BYU as DC?

I think everyone would agree coaching continuity is better than frequent changes. That said, a certain 'identity' for a team can minimize the negatives of frequent changes. Boise did this well ... and to a lesser extent Oregon too. I hate to give those 2 programs credit - but attempting to be hones...

There are some on the board that seem to only want Coaches with Utah ties and preferably LDS. So they can have the same coach for 20 years.
We could have a new coach every year or they could throw a headset on Merlin's statue, if it'll get USU 8+ wins a year, I'm in.
