Re: Am I crazy to think that was some very good play calling?
I am rewatching the game. And we ran sets tonight we haven't ran all year. We ran some sets that looked a lot like 2018. We didnt run it with the same tempo but similar sets and plays. We haven t attacked the seams/ middle of the field like that since 2018. It was refreshing. Shot gun the whole nigh...

What was Gary smoking playing Shelley over Columbi and Peasley? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Ute Peyote So true. I think we are maybe learning that we had some players on the roster that maybe are better than scraps from Utah. 4 of the last 5 have been good or great. We had 1 turd from them.

Re: Am I crazy to think that was some very good play calling?
That felt like I just saw the 2nd best play calling (behind Yost) I’ve seen at usu in the past 6 seasons. It felt like there was a method to the madness, there was a variety of calls, some misdirection, a lot of vertical plays using the sidelines and the middle, etc. Overall I was very impressed wi...

True.
But tonight you saw the match problem he is for a defense. We should have been exploiting that all year.

It is very interesting now that play calling duties have be moved away from Reeder. Who knows what we will look like.

So Canales has been the Utep Offensive Coordinator for the past 3 seasons. In 2018, Utep went 1-11 and had the 127th ranked scoring offense in the country. In 2019 they went 1-11 and Utep had the 119th ranked scoring offense in the country. This year they are a little better at 3-4, but have the 11...

Re: Transfer Portal Explosion tips job to Canales
Canales would likely have no shot if he weren't a former Aggie. Given the state of our program over most if the last 4 decades or so ( with the exception of the last 10 years) being an Aggie should have absolutely no bearing on the decision. It isn't like we are drawing on tradition like Michigan o...

It will be very interesting to see how many guys actually land at other schools. Prior to this year I read that only 56% of P5 transfers actually landed in a FBS. Add on top of that nationally, scholarships are going to be very limited next year with the incoming class plus the seniors that got an e...

I've got to think Bull Busch is a candidate. He's highly regarded at LSU & known as a dynamic recruiter. He is responsible for recruiting Alex Smith to Utah & Joe Burrow to LSU. Re: Coaching Candidates
Any idea what sort of salary we can offer or budget for assistants going forward? $1000000 ish for Head coach $1250000 ish for assistant pool Does that mean we have a lot more interest in the assistant positions to get $250,000 more than what the head coach will be offered? That is just a guess ..
