Re: Salt Lake Tribune's coverage of the scrimmage

It was a dumb question, and that wasn't the time for it, nor was Coach Anderson the right person to ask about it. But I don't get why so many people are so worked up and offended over this. It's not that big of a deal. Also, if you ever find yourself online making fun of the way someone talks or di...

Re: Salt Lake Tribune's coverage of the scrimmage

This entire thread is embarrassing for USU fans. What a terrible look a lot of you are presenting by bullying and harassing a reporter. Was the question great? Maybe not, but who knows whether it is part of a bigger story that is being worked on. If you feel the need to give feedback, do it in a co...

Re: We still might have to cheer for Utah sometimes

Nope, you never cheer or wish any success for the enemy. I'd say I want them to lose every game by 50, but 50 isn't big enough. In years that we are a bubble team, the other bubble teams are the enemy moreso than Utah or BYU, unless Utah or BYU are also bubble teams. This reminds me of a guy I met ...

One things for sure, we need PR wins. That's all that matters. Wins on the court are overrated. Seriously though, stop getting over-excited and over-depressed about coaching hire news and recruiting news. Let's see where we are next February. What should be talked about for the next 10 months on he...

Re: Roster predictions

I just heard from a pretty good source that no decision has been made on Miller yet as far as returning. His back still has some major problems that may prevent him from playing again. Most fans I think don't fully realize how bad Brock's back was at the end of last season. He was nowhere close to ...

Salt Lake City....aka....center of the universe is overrated. And there is absolutely no buzz around our basketball program right now. Do we even have a coach? Just curious. Re: We have a good amount of young talent.

That settles it then. Gonzaga gets all those awesome recruits because of those lovely 75 degree days at the beaches of Spokane. I think the balmy January weather in Ann Arbor tips the scales as well. Surprised they havent hired Chico yet. Weather can be a factor, but it certainly isn't the most imp...

Re: Holy Utah Jazz

The Sun's have a really tough schedule coming up over the next couple of weeks. I don't think the Jazz will lose the 1 seed, but they will need Donovan to get back ASAP. The Jazz actually play pretty well without one of their main guys (including Donovan). Yeah he was out a few games earlier and th...

Re: Dwade is now an owner of the Jazz

Ryan Smith is VERY likely the "wokest" owner in the league. That will come with some real benefits, but I do think the Jazz organization will be very politically active under him. I know Utah tried to institute one of the transgender bills that many states are now either passing or discussing. Ryan...

I think Worster definitely had the potential to be the next great 4 year Aggie legend. I could see him having success at the U on a smaller scale as well. That is certainly the fear and will change the game forever. I hope he does as you say. I would much rather steal some other team's star than get all excited about a great freshman only to see them playing for a Pac 12 school the next year.

The question I waffle back & forth between is, who is going to have the better season next year, the football or basketball team? In all fairness, when we hired Brent Guy, I'm not so sure any coach we hired, who we could have afforded and who would have wanted to come here, would have done too much better. Yeah, you can argue that someone else would have done better than a 9-38 record which I would agree with, but a different...
