Re: The hopefully definitive 2021 transfer portal thread

I watched Rylan play a lot of AAU ball and he was legit. He was invited to a number of camps and was ranked in the top 5 in the nation during that time. I haven’t watched him play much at the U - if their fans aren’t watching how can they expect anyone else too - but if he did have Worster type sta...

Good gritty win last night against the Raptors. Everybody talks about wanting to avoid the Lakers and Clippers until the conference finals, but the Nuggets even without Murray will still be a challenge for whoever gets them in the playoffs, especially if Will Barton comes back. Re: The hopefully definitive 2021 transfer portal thread

Rylan Jones?? :headscratch: talk of him entering portal?? I’d rather have The Wright kid from High-Point but Jones wouldn’t be a bad consolation. We don't need Rylan Jones. While I don’t know enough about rylan and his play to have an opinion one or another. I will say this, this is not the only pl...

Re: Coach Peterson talking USU

What really sealed the deal for Peterson is that Craig Smith offered him a job as his Associate Head Coach at Utah and the process hadn't even begun in Logan yet. Since the job wasn't given to him out of hand, he determined he wasn't going to get it and took the sure thing. Smart man. I don't think...

Re: 2022 NFL Draft

Surprised Scarver doesn't get more love. He is one of the best return men in the country. He has to prove he can catch the ball. Even so, if he proves capable of fielding punts and has a blazing fast 40 time during pro-day, I could see a team taking him solely as a specialist. The All-American labe...

I am glad we got Ryan Odom instead of Tim Miles, but I do think San Jose State getting Tim Miles is as good of a get for them as Odom was for us. San Jose State is fortunate to get someone, ANYONE who has a history of success, ANY success as a D1 head coach, even if it was just regular season succe...

I’m feeling like this coach was a home run hire. I guess we’ll see how it translates to results on the field, but so far it’s feeling good. He put together the best staff USU has probably ever had. Like you said, it remains to be see how it all translates, but so far so good. I do think this is a g...

Obviously there is no guarantee of success as we have seen over and over when guys move up, but Peterson was a HC at Williston State and went 52-15 there. The guy can certainly coach. He should definitely be on our short list if we need to make another basketball hire in a few years.

Yes "loving Logan" has nothing to do with whether a coach will leave. I would venture if you polled all the people that post on this board, the vast majority love Logan, but also left Logan.

People were using that as an argument as why Craig Smith wouldn't leave. "He really loves Logan." And didn't you hear, his wife really loved Logan too!

We just better hope our recruiting targets aren't Mandy Moore fans.
