Stockton and Malone

Jalen is a really good player. What seems to piss everybody off is that he isn't an NBA player. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I can appreciate raw talent, but I admire the gritty never give up "Rudy" type players much more. Maybe I just grew up watching too much John Stockton and Karl Malone. ...

Jalen is a really good player. What seems to piss everybody off is that he isn't an NBA player. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That and his 4 years saw no 20 win seasons and 3/4 losing conference seasons. Re: Perspective of some former players

I look at Jalen Moore as a Pooh Williams or Tyler Newbold equivalent. On a deeper team with more talent and good 4/5 positions in place he would have been a GREAT wing that could have locked down other teams wings and not have been expected to do more on offense other than fast break points, put ba...

Didn't Jaycee only make one tournament? Sent from my SM-G386T using Tapatalk He made 2. His freshman and soph year. Re: Superbowl Sadness

The NFL should be embarrassed about the overtime rule. They might as well give whoever wins the coin toss the win. Can you imagine in the word series if it went into extra innings and the first team batting scored a run the game would be over? Get a clue NFL and go to the college overtime rule! The...

I'm with Brownjeans on this one. He has his flaws, but he is a good player. Of course you would want a talent like him back. Had he been a decade older and played on the Aggie teams of the mid 2000's instead of the mid 2010's, people would worship Jalen like a God. Instead he had a rough 4 years with all that went down around him.

Not out of HS they didn't, and Duryea was head assistant at that time. That's when Rawson was available to us and that's when we should have recruited him and offered. After he'd proven himself at SLCC, and was getting PAC 12 interest, it was too late. It didn't matter what Duryea did then. This rh...

I know optimism is not appreciated here, but here goes anyway. I saw a team last night that was a handful of poor decisions away from a big win. Re: Does Uconn make you interested in women's basketball?

I would be interested to see how the UConn women's team would do in a low mid-major conference. It would be interesting to see if they could qualify for the tournament if they were in a conference like the Big Sky or the MAA - I think that would make me more interested in watching the UConn women's...

No This This also. On another note I am not overly impressed with the 100 wins in a row as there are fewer elite women players and a good share of them go to UConn, thus eliminating competition. Also, if Auriemma is that good of a coach, why doesn't he try men's game. Sent from my iPad using Tapata...

What they are doing is impressive and I respect the women's game because it is more fundamentally sound. The fact that you can win 100 games in row means there is little parity. Maybe. We are not good, but neither is the conference. Other than at Nevada any game is winnable and unlv is downright atrocious, so that should be our road win for the season. It might come down to if we can beat San Jose State.
