Re: Mantua

Is it a different cop than from the 00's? Cause that guy had no problem pulling every car over who even thought about speeding. He thankfully retired. Yeah when I was in school if you wanted a conversation starter with a girl or basically anybody, all you had to do was bring up how much the Mantua ...

I’m surprised they didn’t have more criticism for us having hired as our basketball coach a musician that recently got #metoo’d.
We just better hope our recruiting targets aren't Mandy Moore fans.

Re: The hopefully definitive 2021 transfer portal thread

Other than CSU and maybe Fresno State, every contender has lost significant players to transfer or graduation. How they reload is the question of the day. SDSU has done really well so far in the transfer market and has a lot of their rotation guys returning.. As per their norm they should be pretty...

Re: This may sound dumb: program energy

It doesn’t sound dumb. I hope we are good, but people need to remember just how bad we sucked last year in setting expectations. We will definitely win more than one game! Yep. A winning season next year would be incredible, but expecting a one year turnaround from 1 to 7 is a big jump. (I know we ...

When was the last time they won a close game? I know they're currently something like 0-8 in OT games. As far as a game decided in the last minute, probably the Memphis game right after the plane scare about a month ago. That's probably right. The good news is, they haven't had many close games, th...

Yeah they aren't a championship team without Mitchell. Luckily he'll be back by the playoffs. Definitely pretty pathetic to be 0-3 against the second worst team in the league.

Are Hansen and Grabowski both unemployed right now? Crazy to think of how much success they've had just to be out of a job currently. I imagine they'll find jobs somewhere. I really do believe that Coach A will get us back to the top 25 again and win a MWC championship. When he will, though, is the real question.. This rebuild is going to take some time and patience. Yeah I still think it will be a challenge to win 7 games next year. Fans are so excited which is great...

SDSU picks up Tahirou Diabate, a 6'9 transfer from Portland.
Diabate will be a nice addition to their bench. I don't think he is good enough to be a good starter in the MW.

I believe it. I don't know if it will happen as quickly as many on here do, but it sure seems like a great staff. Hartwell likes to make the sexy hire. He can't get that from hiring assistants. If Hartwell would have been at SDSU in 2017, Brian Dutcher wouldn't be their head coach. Interviews with the SDSU coach might be a little less robotic if he weren't their HC, but SDSU can't complain about the results. H...

Merrill again showed he has NBA potential if he gets a legitimate shot. Today he got in with a few minutes left in a massive blowout, but went 3-3 with 8 points and swished two 3's. His 3p% is now 46%. He keeps making it hard for them not to play him.
