It would be awesome if we could @ProvoAggie or @Aglicious or whoever in the body of a post and it would generate a notification to that user drawing their attention to the post - provided they have their preferences set to receive such notifications.

You mean like this @brownjeans? I got a notification that you tagged me in this message. It even has an autocomplete when you type @ and start typing someones name. You just need to select it from the dropdown and it should add [ mention ] tags around their name.

Try now. It looks like it was only turned on for Mods and Admins. I had no idea and thought it was on for everyone.

LOL..... sorry, I was under the same impression....no clue it wasn't that way for everyone. And here I thought that perhaps I was just more clever for using it on occasion.
