WTHCG - This week's WTHCG again features a NCAA DIVISION 3 match up, this time going to the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin - but including a team from Missouri... The Illinois Wesleyan Titans are on a 5-game win streak after opening the season with a 3-point home loss to UW-La Crosse. IW was sitting at #17 in the D3Football Top 25 before last week's win over Elmhurst (1-5). The Titans are led by senior RB Morgan Alexander who rushed for 218 last weekend, putting him to 540 on the season for 98 yards/game and 4.2/rush. The Titans travel 170 miles from Bloomington, IL to St Louis, MO for a conference match up with the 5-1 Washington University in St. Louis Bears. WUSL lost by 12 on the road in week 2 to North Central (IL) who was #5 at the time, and currently #15. In last week's poll, the Bears had 41 points, 15 points and 3 places behind #25. They will likely garner more votes this week, after upsetting #23 Wheaton at home 17-10. The WashU Defense recorded 10 sacks and 16 tackles for a loss and allowed -3 yards of rushing on 25 attempts against the now 3-2 Thunder. The Bears have surrendered over 21 points only twice, and scored under 21 twice.
