Server "choking"

I may be the only one having this issue, or may be the only one noticing it since I spend too much time on this site but:
Every once in a while I will be trying to load a page on the server and it will just "choke" and sit there "waiting" for 30-60 seconds. Sometimes it can be resolved by clicking again, or clicking on the main news page and then going back into the forum, but other times I just have to wait.
The pages seem to be loading fast when they do load, but sometimes it just chokes on me.
