Advanced Search

Post by ChicAggie » November 3rd, 2010, 2:06 pm

It would be nice if an "advanced" search option could be added that would allow searches to be conducted by both author and keyword(s).

It exists but for some reason isn't linked anywhere. For now you can access it here: search.php
I'll work on getting it added to the header.

Also: If you click on someone's username you can view all of their posts and search through them. Pretty handy.

ProvoAggie, is there a way you could move the "Search Forums" link to the right of the page (right align) ? It's showing directly to the right of my site heirarchy/seed/trail and it's very annoying/confusing there (to me anyway). I tend to use that site trail a lot to move around on the forums, so it's frustrating to always have to skip "Search Forums" when looking at it. Does that make sense?

Or you could move it down a section by the User control Panel / view your posts / stuff....
