New D lineman?

Post by superaggie » June 10th, 2011, 2:37 pm

I was speaking to an offensive line to see from his perspective how the d line would look. He said that there is a new Poly D lineman. He mentioned his name it was like alevea. He said he was a juco transfer. Does anyone have a beat on this kid?

FYI i know it is not Al Apolou the transfer from snow.

There are two freshman # 95 and #72? Cant remember their names. Both are going to be great players. Love the drive of #95.

I think 72 was Matagi
and 95 was Vaifoou.

Both these guys are red shirt freshman and are very goog. I think USU in the very near future will be known as DLU Defensive Line University just like in the day when Merlin was playing here.

Here's a little trivia....Vaifoou's dad and Evan's dad are cousins...small world huh?

Mrs H. are their any other poly boys that you guys are related to so you can send them our way?

I was really impressed by your son during spring. He demanded a double team every time and he still would not move. I think that he is huge asset to our team especially now that we are running the 3-4. If you have any other boys, be sure that you send them to Gary and to our Aggie family and they will be taken care of.

Mrs. H I love your posts. Thanks for being part of our family.

We were known as "Tackle U" in the day. A coach from the New York Giants rued that the first 3 tackles at USU (Merlin Olsen< Clark Miller and Clyde Brock..and a huge thank you for being Aggies) were larger than his first 3 tackles.
