They were so soft and weak. Their fans complain about our guys being thugs and getting away with holds. No. We were tough. We punched them in the mouth and they were to weak to respond. Too much finesse. Stanford did the same to Oregon.

I was proud that they described our guys as thugs. When was that ever said? We played tough, smash mouth football. Beautiful.

Around the 5:30 mark, on Doughty's pick, Fackrell lights the WR up. I love that kid.

IMO it was Chuck Jacobs best game. He had some good returns, tough catches, and held onto the ball when they were stripping hard. Austin made some great catches too.

as a former offensive lineman myself (2nd string; 7th grade middle school team ;) ), i'm gonna give a shout out to #74 Kevin Whimpey for getting his a** outside and making a hell of a block that sprung KWill for his long run on the screen pass to open the game. That block was a thing of beauty and that play set the mood for the whole game. props to the oline ALL NIGHT LONG!!!

Was that highlights for the whole season or just one game?

Agreed, the O-line was great all night. Chuckie had plenty of time to operate and they opened some huge holes.

We are the Raiders of the Rockies! :devil:

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I am impressed with Joe Hill catching Kerwin Williams on the first play. I really want to see him get the ball in space a couple times Saturday.

Joe Hill can be big for us. From what I have seen he's a KW 2.0

great highlight reel, but the music selection was sub-par... it could have really used some AC/DC or something to set the mood

Still can't believe we pulled this game off even after they came all the way back and tied it at 41.

Well, since we got every call and the refs didn't call any of our thuggish penalties, or holds, or any other mean-spirited sins, how did poor LaTech even stand a chance? It was all a big set up. The refs were paid off by the Orange Bowl folks so they didn't have to entertain the thought of a non-AQ school in one of their bowls. Just ask many LaTech fans...they'll tell you why we REALLY won!

Thanks for pointing that out. That is some SERIOUS speed. He comes from the other side of the field no less.

:shock:

I know you guys obviously don't like rap, but that first song was decent. Also, recruits are watching this. They don't want to listen to ACDC. Just saying.

I like the song but wasn't the same music as the KW highlight vid?

Hip-hop and rap are going to be what young athletes identify with, in most cases. And there's nothing wrong with that, it's just part of their culture every bit as much as long hair grunge alternative was a part of mine when I was their age. I think that's pretty cool that the video team (Zach Nyborg, is that you?) are aware of that.

PS - GA said at the last luncheon that these videos were being used in recruiting a lot, so take that for what it's worth.

Yep, I'm in high school and I like rap and Indie Folk stuff. Weird combination but that is what is popular these days.

Android, most kids in general like rap and hip hop. It's an under 30 thing.

I'm sorry but I but if they can't get pumped by AC/DC we don't need them... and that is the kind of stuff that the team listens to in practice

@TheAKAggie

Oh. Awesome. I stand corrected.

Always admired the beats, but the cultural medium in which rap was written when I was a lad - 90s - just never did it for me. White skinny nerdy kid who felt angsty and grossly misunderstood by everyone around him? Getting me to buy The Smashing Pumpkins' albums was like shooting fish in a barrel...

@AggiePhotog

I hope you're kidding around. We certainly should not be passing on recruits based on musical taste. :)

As for what's played in practice, they just play for noise, not to get you pumped up. It's meant to be distracting.
