Only 1 game, road trip via Motorcycle from WA
Looks like I have a choice. Doing a motorcycle road trip from Seattle to Logan. 2 options. Go to the Utah game in SLC or the Weber home game. Weather may be a bit warmer and dryer in late Aug vs mid September in some of the passses I would ride over, I will be making a meandering ride instead of freeway, so time/speed is not a problem. I will be camping on the way and staying in Morgan and West Jordan while in Utah.
If you could go to one game, what would you choose?

Utah game. First game of the season. Will be a much more exciting game. An upset over Utah at Utah would be awesome to attend.

It depends on what you wanna see. Do you want to come see the new facilities and Romney on a gameday? Or would you rather see an actual good football game?

Zen and the art of an Aggie motorcycle pilgrimage.
When you're preparing for the trip you should start a thread with pics and stuff. I'd be interested in following it.

Wife's work and daughters school made me decide the Utah game is it. Now I just need to get the bike back together I will stop in Logan to see the changes and may ride up the canyon, then down to Hunstville where I grew up via Monte Cristo.
I will try to do some "travel log". ADVRider website loves to see MC travels, so i will put something together. It will be my first long distance solo ride. This year it will be on pavement. Next plan is mostly dirt on my dual sport. Yes there are valid road/trails most of the way, but I need more time.

Bags packed, MC worked over. Never been this excited for a game or a motorcycle ride. Two bucket list items. Road USU game and motorcycle tour of WA, OR, ID and UT. Test ride today almost ended up as an early start. Leaving town @ first light. USU Flag attached and ready to ride.

Re: Only 1 game, road trip via Motorcycle from WA
My advice: WEAR GLOVES! I rode my motorcycle from San Francisco to Logan last summer and didn't wear gloves much of the way. I got one of the worst sunburns of my life, but it was only on my hands. I looked ridiculous, having pasty white skin from the San Francisco fog except for bright red hands. It looked like I had gloves on. They blistered and my right hand has faint scarring.
Definitely break the ride up into a few days if you can. It was a great trip for me. I got great earbuds and listened to books the whole way. Very relaxing (but tiring at the same time). I don't think anyone can really understand Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance until doing a long trip like that.

You're making me want to plan another trip. Maybe I could ride up highway 1 to Portland in the spring...

For a ride like this, I am AGATT. Mesh MC pants, boots, mesh upper body armor, leather gloves and half helmet. I can wear the protection gear with very light weight moto-cross shirt and shorts. Cooler ride, but still road rash protection. Route is all non-freeway, smell the roses type roads. About 1250 miles instead of 850. 500/500/250 puts me in SLC mid day Thursday.

Yeah, I had it all too. Just forgot to unpack my gloves and was too lazy to take them out. That sounds like a fun ride. Ride safe and have fun.

Successful and safe 2,500+ mile ride. Game had disappointing outcome. Ute Fans were cordial and complentary. Said Kick the zoobies a$$ for them.
Very disappointed in Logan. Rolled into town mid-day Thursday expecting to see excitement. Was going to eat lunch where the most Aggie support was shown. Very little town support. Buffalo Wild Wings was decked out, so that was lunch. @ the game, by accident, sat by one of my freshman college roommates I had not seen since 79. GameFaqs was right behind me, Seems I see him at every game, Boise, Spokane, Seattle....
