Planning on seeing some of Garretson
We will see some of Garretson AND...
I'm thinking he will impress just like Chuckie as a Freshmen against Auburn. Kind of a rush being the underdogs again in a way. Looking forward to beating the Donks

I really hope we don't get bogged down in the dual QB thing. Pick one and go with it.uscaggie wrote:We will see some of Garretson AND...

If we are going to burn a RS then Garretson has to be the guy. No dual QB crap.

Re: Planning on seeing some of Garretson
Agreed, pick one and go with him. Either we can develop Harrison into a solid QB to guide us to a bowl win this year and give us insurance next year or we start working towards the future with a talented freshman that we will need to carry the torch in 2015 against a tough schedule.dyedblue wrote:If we are going to burn a RS then Garretson has to be the guy. The key to your QB is confidence. If either has their head on a swivel they won't play well. They have to know that it's their job completely.

The worst option IMO is to go dual QB, but what do I know. I'm only a physician assistant.

Then it's got to be Harrison. No reason to pull a redshirt off Garretson if Harrison has looked good.uscaggie wrote:from what I hear both Harrison and Garretson practiced well this week. We'll see.
I'm actually really smart, probably smarter than you are so if you disagree with what I have stated in this post, you are likely wrong (and dumb).

On the contrary. If it's close at all, take the freshman and the future. He can redshirt next year with Chuckie back.JonnyCienPesos wrote:Then it's got to be Harrison. It's my understanding that Harrison is the guy and maybe a little bit of Tay. I'm just wondering what his guess is.

It might help if you don't include a picture of your junk. I'm pretty sure Geo isn't into that.hipsterdoofus21 wrote:Forget it Jonny. He won't answer you. I PM'd him a similar question and got nothing.

All you guys are wrong, it's going to be Kirk Johnson. The first 10 rows in the stadium need to be ready for the football hitting you in the head, and yes that includes the south end zone.

It will be Garretson for the rest of the season then red shirt next year. I have heard this from some good sources.

I don't doubt you one bit. But this is going to be interesting because I've heard the exact opposite from what I think are good sources.providencealum wrote:It will be Garretson for the rest of the season then red shirt next year. I have heard this from some good sources.

I heard Kyler Fackrell will be resurrecting his QB skills from HS and playing both ways.

Re: Planning on seeing some of Garretson
I heard we've exhumed the body of Jim Thorpe, placed in it the unfrozen brain of Johnny Unitas, and reanimated the body with the speed of Jesse Owens and the attitude of Jack Tatum. The team is so scared of franken-QB the OL won't even block for him...he doesn't need it.

Eddynero, weren't you the guy who said that the head coaching position last year was Sitake's to lose?eddynero wrote:Tay Glover-Wright will see more action at qb than Garretson tomorrow, unless Harrison gets hurt.
At least tell us your source level:
1. Direct conversation with the head coach.
2. Direct conversation with another coach.
3. Second hand from the head coach.
4. Second hand from another coach.
5. Direct conversation with a player.
6. Second hand from a player.
7. Direct conversation with the ice cooler girl.
8. Direct conversation with the janitor in the locker room.
9. Direct conversation with Frank.
Anything else is not a reliable source.
Actually, Eddynero, I like your input, and are spot on 90% of the time.

Nah, I just barely graduated in August, been working for 4 weeks now. I don't even know what I'm doing, so I doubt anyone would let me teach you. Maybe in the spring though.
