If either of those 2 are cut, they have a job in the NFL the next day on a game day roster

Kerwynn Williams had a great game last night that included a 9 yard touchdown run. I think he's solid on the roster.

No Turbin in the Seahawks final preseason game. He was at home, in a walking boot. :(

2nd round of triage has begun.
Looks like BJ Larsen got cut by the Bills: http://www.buffalobills.com/news/articl ... 06ea2c309f
Too bad. Would be happy to see him make a practice squad somewhere.

Turbin was waived by the Seahawks today. Injury designation. Not sure exactly what the injury part entails.

Here is an explanation of injury designation. In short if he isn't claimed off of waivers he goes on the Seahawks IR list. A lot of it has to do with roster spots.

Has he actually been waived, or are there just reports that he will be?

Curtis Marsh made the 53 man roster. I am little surprised, but good for him. I'm glad an Aggie is a Denver Bronco. He had a couple of PI's and whiffed tackles, but they chose him over Tony Carter.

Zach Vigil and Willie D made the final roster.

Turbin was placed on IR by Seahawks.

There were rumors that he'd be waived with an injured designation, but the Seahawks decided to not risk losing him and put him on the IR instead.

We're down to 8 Aggies in the League, the same number as byu and about 1/3 as many as utah... Anyone know how many each of the other MWC schools have?

On Turbin, at 4:03 mountain time NFL.com and the Seahawks home page still list him as a Seahawk. No transactions reported. Seems the only reason he would be waived is if he thought he was healthy enough to play and didn't want to sit a full season and asked to be released. If that is the case I'm sure he has insider info that he would get picked up immediately.

Per player info in my Yahoo Fantasy League:

"Wed, Sep 9
Seahawks released RB Robert Turbin with an injury settlement.
Advice: He's now a free agent. Turbin is expected to be sidelined for at least a month with a high-ankle sprain, but should resurface when healthy. Marshawn Lynch's backup the last three seasons, Turbin has averaged 4.0 YPC over 231 career carries."

Call me crazy...but thats a pretty decent average right, he should have no problem getting picked up...

He will get picked up when he is healthy. I wouldn't expect anyone to grab him and put him on their roster now but look for some action in 4-6 weeks when he can play again. Seattle could still get him back but would have to wait 6 weeks after he is healthy and ready to play so it would be week 10-12 before he could play. If they want him back and would like to extend his contract with a nice bump in pay they will be having ongoing discussions with him so he doesn't go to another team. I think he will end up somewhere else that needs a strong running back where he may go in and be part of a committee or a #1 guy. Take a close look each time a running back goes out with an injury this season.

Good luck to him. I wish he could have stayed in Seattle. I loved having multiple Aggies on my team.

Donald Penn had a reception today and gained about 5 yards. The awesome announcers talked about his 10 years in the league and that he played for Utah in college.
