The Last Time CSU Came to Logan

Four things:

-The wind was angry that day, my friends..."like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli"
-Nick Vigil's interception in the 4th quarter was a thing of beauty...this was his first memorable game for me
-Mo Alexander...I miss him
-Joey Demartino ran the ball 35 times...dude was a workhorse

I was at that game and froze my tail off. Went to get hot chocolate for my 7 year old son at halftime, and they ran out at the person in front of me.

Correction, they only took cash not credit. I was wrong about running out of hot chocolate. Either way, it was frustrating.

It was nice to see the Aggies shut down Bibbs. At that time, the local media in Colorado was really talking him up.

I, too, was there. Bitterly cold wind. Defense played amazingly well. Shut down Bibbs. Skunked csu.

I was sitting with the missionaries at that game. One of them was an LSU fan being from Louisiana, and he told me that it was like an SEC game in that it was all defense.

I don't remember it being that cold. But maybe that's because the extreme cold of the New Mexico game last year topped it. My trombone slide froze and I couldn't move it at that game

MissionIonaries going to a ball game? I would have gotten sent home for sure if my mission president found out that I went to a game of some sort.

Coldest game I've ever been to. The Utah-Colorado game in 2011 was a very close second.

Very satisfying to pitch a shutout and make Bibbs look foolish.

Good to see linemen moving defenders off the line of scrimmage.

Yeah, some presidents let you go. Like these two got to go to all our games cause they were on campus, while others could go if they had an investigator. And, what was funny was they also went to the Wyoming game the next week, which was two more games in 8 days than some get to go to their entire mission, and the mission president was their ride TO the game. I also know someone else who went to DC and told me that she cant go to games while she is on her mission, I told her that sometimes you can, and she was like "I don't think so". Then she got to go to a Nationals baseball game, and I able to tell her "I told you" that you get to go to games on our mission sometimes.

That was a cold game, but last season vs New Mexico is easily the coldest game I've attended. I think it dipped into the single-digits for most of the 2nd half.

I saw Sammy Watkins play a high school playoff game while I was on my mission. I also saw a Red Sox spring training game.

The coldest game I remember was at Utah in 2007, but that was mostly my fault because I had my shirt off and chest painted the whole game (except half time).

I was at that game, as well. Giant snowstorm in September and I was in a t-shirt with flip-flops. Left at halftime, lol. Another cold one was Eastern Washington in '94... cold and miserable.

I agree the game was cold, but I didn't think it was that bad. However, maybe I am just used to it since I live in Idaho where the wind never stops. There have been much worse weather games than that. The most memorable part of that game was our dominant defense.

Wish I could blame my immovable trombone slide on the weather
