Did I miss something? I was really looking forward to seeing Craig Rucker at fall camp but his name isn't on the roster. Sorry if this has been discussed already.

It was announced and discussed. There was much wailing and gnashing of teeth (mostly by me). I thought he was the type of big play producer we lacked last year and I also felt he was one of the better recruits we had in this class. Perhaps the Ruck Show will eventually make it to Logan but the percentages say don't count on it.

Rucker will be playing at Mars Hill University. It's a D-2 school in North Caralina.

Man, I really wanted to get this guy. What are the chances he somehow makes it to Logan still?

I could drive up to NC tomorrow, pick him up and have him in Logan by Thursday night...will that work? Or am I missing a larger issue here....?

No, that sounds great. Be sure to mention to him that his jersey will be #15 and to pay no attention to the fact that it says Conrad on the back. We'll get that fixed later.

The issue is Mars Hill University is a Division 2 school, which by NCAA rules makes us unable to re-recruit Rucker.

That sucks. What if he came to us after getting his grades up...? Or is he not allowed?
