At Wake Forest September 16

Post by OKAggie » February 9th, 2017, 2:35 pm

Per FB Schedules: http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa-17/2017 ... hedule.php

When's the MWC going to announce its 2017 schedule?

Nobody here knows anything.

Also I notice on the Schedule tab above that we're listed as playing at LSU in 2019. Was there an announcement on this?

I would guess so. Our Admins have had it on the schedule part of this site for a while: http://www.usufans.com/Schedule/Year/2019

Right, that's where I saw it. But I tried to google up an announcement, without success. Maybe I need a new googler.

Admins: what do you know that google doesn't?

I have been wishing so hard for a game against LSU that it actually just happened. Now to wish for one against Texas, TAMU, Baylor, or TCU.

Now would be a good time to play Baylor. They are a bit of a dumpster fire

I don't think that it's been announced yet but it was discussed on here last summer after being reported by someone that has been right before. They also shared a few other games that hadn't yet been announced and have since been confirmed. For some reason a lot of these games take a while for USU to announce.

No wonder Goon was so far behind in his reporting. He was relying on the Athletics SID for information.

I'm going to the wake game. I'll be in DC for language training. I might make the Wisconsin game too, but it's looking unlikely as of now.

I'll also be going to the Wake Forest game. I have to admit, it's been nice having both the basketball and football teams coming out this way for games.

I think if we play our cards right, we should be able to get Wake Forest's game plan from their radio analyst. Could be just the edge we need.

Nothing announced yet but the basketball games back east have typically been announced between seasons rather than years in advance.

It looks to be about a 7 1/2 hour drive for me. That makes it a maybe. I'd need to get permission from the wife, make sure I don't have any conflicts, and probably try to find some other local Aggies interested in splitting gas and hotel money.

better this year. Reason? Reality? No, but HOPE? Sure

Somebody that went to the basketball coach's luncheon reported there that Hartwell said the MW will be releasing the schedule "soon". Those quotes are for what the poster said. I don't know if it was Hartwell's word or not.

Anyone planning on going to the game at WF? I just moved out to the region in March, it'd be great to see some fellow Aggies.

I'm strongly considering making the trip. I live in northern Alabama, making it about an eight hour drive. I'm also considering stopping by to visit my mission president along the way, who lives near Knoxville. Maybe even throwing in a jaunt down the Tail off the Dragon. I put in some coilovers on my hatchback a few months back and would love to test them out. Could be a pretty cool trip for me.

I'm looking into heading down for the game from Central PA. Mostly depends on kickoff time, work schedule, and kids' school/athletic schedule. I doubt the game will be given any priority for TV, so I am hoping for a mid-afternoon kickoff.

Just drove through Winston-Salem this weekend. Looks like a beautiful stadium. I'm hoping to get out to the game as some friends will be starting med school there this fall.
