Kent Myers
Looks like the same guy to me. Does it just feel like Myers knows where he is going to throw the ball at the snap and just doesn't move through any progressions? Poor pocket awareness and doesn't throw accurately. At this point don't we pretty much know what he is?

Re: Kent Myers
Unfortunately his play is costing us this game. Soon as we try passing we start losing. When we was running the ball we controlled the game.

Re: Kent Myers
We will not go far with him behind center. The only question is, will Matt Wells risk his job by keeping Myers in?

Re: Kent Myers
We were looking damn good to start on both sides, then the wheels fell off after the Terrel tip. This could be a good Team they just need to be mentally tougher. They just gotta flush this thing and move on. I think it's time to start breaking in the future QB though.

Re: Kent Myers
I don't think a different quarterback changes the outcome of this game. But #2's play has been horrendous tonight. The only upside of getting blown out in the second half is we will hopefully get to see Love in garbage time.

Re: Kent Myers
You got it right. That first pick changed everything. KM doesn't look like a senior QB to me. Too much forcing the issue. You need the offense to gain a rhythm. He struggles getting us there.

I really hope that isn't the case this year.Madmartigan wrote:It's unlikely we see anyone but Myers no matter the scoredonlarson8 wrote:I don't think a different quarterback changes the outcome of this game. Re: Kent Myers
Myers hasn't progressed at all during his career. In fact, you could argue that he has regressed. My only hope was that this new offense would let him shine. But his weaknesses have shown through even brighter tonight. I'm definitely ready for a change.

They just don't know how to handle adversity, something goes wrong and they $hit the bed. They looked so good then the Skunks figured us out. These Coaches have a hard time countering the other Coaches adjustments.taniataylor wrote:I am just soooo sad right now!!
I'm wondering what is MW willing to do to save his job.

Meyers is the same today as he always has been. He never has been a good QB and never will be.

Re: Kent Myers
So what's the over/under on Meyers getting benched? Before or after Wells is fired? Lol

This game reminds of Super Bowl XXII when the Broncos led the Redskins 10-0 after 1st quarter only to get beat down 42-10.

Re: Kent Myers
Too bad Hobbs didn't get a good look at QB last year so we have another option with some experience.
I challenge anyone to name something Myers does well.

He is really good at throwing a horrible ball
Re: Kent Myers
Watch Meyers after the pick. Just stood there and watched everyone run by him. Not only was he better as a freshman, he is no leader on this team with his attitude and effort. We have a young team. Start the quarterback of the future (Colombi) and let him grow with this young team. We can still have a good season with the new talent that we have rising to significant roles this year.
